Challenge Entry
Wow itās been awhile for me since I did one of these and this is right up a chaos witchās street, even a rune witch.
Instant Magic Chaos View
This is my go to on the run magic. Even though thereās a no tools vibe in this challenge, we all have tools every day, our phone, pen, paper, lighters, the weather, the ground weāre walking on and perhaps our most powerful - the unseen forces of the deity/spirit world thatās just waiting for this kind of magic.
A Simple How to Change your Energy using Chaos Magick
I straight away remembered the above, magic on the run,
I can think of a few situations I shouldāve used this but hey ho such is chaos. ![]()
The other Instant Magic is Runes
Once learnt, they are everywhere and nowhere.
Stuck in a traffic jam, feeling the pressure rise in your bones? Lick your finger, draw
on your forehead and start to chill down.
On a walk, feel a sudden desire to sit under that tree and open a portal? No problem, use the bridge rune
. Close your eyes, chant the rune over and over, clapping your rhythm and enjoy the journey.
Arrived at a hotel, canāt change rooms but the one youāre in is definitely off - no worries, runes have got this covered, pour a cup of water, dip your finger in the water and draw
on the windows and doors and
on any mirrors, sorted.
Fancy a chat with a god? No altar, no crystals, no grimoire? Not an issue, these beings have been around since Ginungagapp days when such things did not exist - just call their name, and wait for their arrival or if you fancy ritualising it a little - write their name on a piece of paper, with the rune
circle it, then call out 3 times the rune, and enjoy their company.
Having an issue with something/someone, canāt figure out what to do? Take a walk, collect some sticks, thrown away items, let the sun, wind or moon cleanse it, then create a bind rune and leave the rest to the rune gods. Everything has megin in it, so everything can be harnessed for a witch to utilise. Hereās one I did a few weeks ago:
Want to catch up with some ancestors? Know where theyāre buried? Go along for a chat, sit by their grave, spit on the ground (marks your DNA, this is old Nordic stuff
) and just be.
Our ancestors did magic everywhere, witchcraft was rough, raw and earthy and to be honest, in our current climate, perhaps itās time to return to more local home based humble practices, in that way we support our local eco system, local homemade businesses, do our bit to stop cultural appropriation and save our wallets.
Itās a win win. ![]()
