Hey Doll!!! This Coven has truly been a safe haven for me over the last two months since I have joined! It is such a supportive community!!! I promise you that you will find the support you need here! This group of Witches is truly a remarkable group of people (getting tears are I type this)! I am so super grateful to be an active member of this amazing community!! I just realized I just properly introduced myself - heyyy my real name is Jacqueline, but I go by my Witch name Selena Paloma here! I left the Accounting Industry last year to become a Spiritual Healer. My family is still trying to push me back into Accounting so I still have my tough days when I think I need to go back and sacrifice my happiness again, but then I take a step back and realize that I am actually happy for once in my life doing what I love even if I am not making much money doing it. I was like that at first. I wanted to know what real witches did in their daily lives to help figure myself out. It wasnāt until I found this forum that I got comfortable with myself.
But I eventually sorted myself out. I donāt cast a lot of magic; Iām mostly into trying to connect to the gods and the spirituality of it, but that doesnāt make me any less of a witch.

Weekly Witchy Challenge - Morning Magick - Entry
The challenge this week is the first in quite some time. I honestly hope that I am able to get this one in. It seems like I start a challenge, and something happens that prevents me from finishing on time or I just donāt do it, putting other things ahead of my school responsibilities. That has to stop! So here we goā¦
Upon doing my research, I came across this website that had some very interesting information on Morning Magick. Also, I am really glad that this is the first challenge in awhile as I have been wanting so very much to get organized with all the rituals from morning until evening and this seems like a good start. To start a Magical Morning, consider the following tips: (Katrina, April, 2022).
⦠Create a Joyful Environment: Make your space peaceful and inspiring with beautiful decor and a cozy bed.

Magical Morning Routine Ideas
⦠Rise when your alarm goes off and try not to hit snooze too many times.
⦠Hitting the snooze too many times can actually make you more tired, less enthusiastic about your day, and usually you wished you hadnāt hit it. Well maybe just once is okay!
⦠Recite 3 affirmations for your day before getting out of bed.
⦠Before even getting out of bed close your eyes and recite to yourself three things you would like to manifest in your day. It could be happiness, abundance, success, anything that will help you have a positive and motivated attitude first thing in the morning.
⦠Give your body a morning stretch.
⦠We are all stiff first thing in the morning. Take even 20 seconds and stretch out those muscles that will be working hard for you all day long.
⦠Add a glass of magical lemon water to your morning routine.
⦠Warm lemon water helps to stimulate digestion and is alkalizing to the body. Not to mention, it carries properties of longevity, clarity, and happiness.
Morning Magick has been very enlightening for me. This will be incorporated into my daily routine.

Hi Iām new so I have no idea if Iām responding in the right spot- but this is for morning magic. I used to have a very simple morning routine and I have lost it along the way of having new changes (for one thing change in schedule with work) and adapting to timeā¦.. but I have realized I needed to get back on a sort of spiritual schedule and this is just another wake up call seeing this posted as a challengeā¦. So I will TRY and get back on track- I did make the attempt and did my devotions and my journaling the other am and it felt good- but to keep it constant and day to day -I think I really have to make a more concrete schedule in general in my lifeā¦sometimes more isnāt good lol.

Challenge Entry Morning Magick
As @MeganB said, good timing with having this challenge as school is about to start again! My morning routine has been off the rails lately. I never know if Iām going to get 30 seconds or an hour with my sonās unpredictable sleep in. I need my consistent routine back and admittedly Iām not a fan of waking up in the morning so I let it slide.
Here are elements of my morning that Iām bringing back:
- Lemon water (I might add a magical element by using moon water or maybe adding an herb like rosemary or lavender for protection)
- Sit out on the deck facing the sun and listen to the Wiccan Morning prayer on Spells8
- Light a candle and do a Grounding Centering and Shielding meditation
- Repeat this mantra, apologies I donāt know the source, it was FB post at some point:
āFrom Earth to Sky, I am whole. My body is steady, my heart is open, my mind is clear. My spirit shines, my soul remembers. I am balanced on all levels of being, grounded, centered and aligned in the Sourceā
- Body activation to warm up every joint (link below)
- Pull a tarot card for the day
- Stir intention for the day into my cup of coffee
I would also like to try doing part of my routine barefoot on the ground but a couple of challenges are finding a spot where the dog hasnāt been, lol and also hearing my son wake up.
