Can anyone suggest a short bedtime story for Yule. I’m thinking something along the lines of twas the night before Christmas something I can read to the family for evening of Yule to help them understand the meaning of the holiday.
Hey there! I’ll do some digging and see if I can find any for you. I know the book Circle Round has many stories for each holiday, but I’m not sure if it’s available in a digital format. Anyway, here are some links I found for you!

Greetings @LadyAuld.ofChico!
Megan shared some great suggestions- as for Yule stories, my favorite has to be the Icelandic tale about the Yule Cat
More about it here:
There is a traditional poem you could recite and also a fun YouTube video with more info! However, I should mention that although it’s a fun story, it may not be a suitable story for very young (or easily scared) kids.
I hope you can find the perfect story- blessed Yule!
