I’m not too familiar with Isis myself, but from what I’ve seen she seems like a wonderful diety to work with, @Christina4!

Isis is is the Egyptian Goddess of healing, magic, and maternal affairs. She is one of the Goddesses mentioned in the Charge of the Goddess.

Spellwork in Her name is best done on Fridays and she is a wonderful diety to invoke when working healing magic.

I’m sure others know more about Her- I’m looking forward to learning more about Isis as well!:sparkles:

You can also dedicate an altar or shrine to Isis in your own home. This is from the book The Mysteries of Isis which has lots of great information:

"A simple altar to Isis consists of an image of Her, equipment for burning incense, and a source of light.

This can be a candle or oil lamp; if circumstances such as pets, small children, or fear of fire is a concern, use a small, pretty electric lamp as your main altar light.

Usually the altar or shrine is placed in the east, the direction where the sun rises." :sunny:

Looks like you got some good information to get you started! I may look into her too, I don’t know much about her at all. I love to work with Brigid, but I like to know a little bit about the others also. Please share anything that may be useful in learning about her! I will share anything that I may find also.
