It doesn’t usually. The few times it has it’s been usually a vagrant wandering in. They had to take out loveseat in the lobby and put up cameras all over the place because people were sleeping in the gazebo or once someone came and used one of the clothes washers as a restroom. They really try to keep things nice. The cameras has really helped.

Cinnamon seemed like a good option since its something most people already have on hand (and is accessible and inexpensive for anyone who doesn’t have it). But yes, I imagine the building manager may not like it in the hallway 
Perhaps you could blow it out the window instead?

I was thinking of getting cinnamon essential oil and adding some to my Florida water. All the good smells and none of the clean up! Because while I maybe able to open my window, I can’t blow hard enough to get the cinnamon out right now. LOL.

I don’t know if anybody mentioned it but New Year’s eve is just one day after the Full Moon! 
I think a cleansing ritual with Full Moon water is a good idea: To wash away the bad stuff of the year that ends, and decorate with fresh flowers, wear fresh clothes and use lemon, lavender, anything that cleanses

I was thinking of using Palo Santo & Lavender together after I sage the house. I have a diffuser & incense that I can place in the living room & my space/room. I feel the same way about the coming New Year. I am going to be sure to make freshwater & put my crystals out also.

Everyone has such wonderful ideas to welcome in the New Year I can feel that as a group we are all ready to sweep out 2020 and welcome in a fresh new start!
