One thing I would suggest for any printed BOS. is to blood bind the pages. This is because unlike handwriting your boss your printed pages won’t have your essence. The way you would doo this is to prick your finger after you cleanse your book and smear your blood across the spine pages making sure all pages are touched. then bless your book and you and your book are as one.

I am currently bookmarking this again (I lost the original bookmark) because I want to work on this, I love to scrapbook and want to get back to doing that also. The thought came to me to make an adjustable Grimoire on my own.

I went on a search and as soon as I found Chicago Screws, I remembered this post! So now I’m off to figure out what type of cover I want and make a supply list to start this. I saw some DIY tutorials, but some were very involved and I got lost in all the explanations and using what to cut, fold, line, punch, and the types of board and all the things  I’m so happy I remembered this thread was here! :hugs:

If you want to keep up with natural works see if you can aquire a scew operated book press or see if a carpenter can make one. this will allow you compress the book further and create a stiffer binding that will be strong and reliable.

Oh, I know people who are carpenters in construction or who may be able to do this too! I would love a wooden cover, but I think I have an empty screw and post scrapbook that I could re-do the cover to something else, or maybe I could find one that I can personalize. It depends on if I can decide on the wooden cover and ask about the book press.

Right now, I am designing pages with a couple of different programs for backgrounds and such to what I write. I also know that I have a bunch of 12x12 paper in a storage shelf thing. I used stiffer than regular printer paper for the designed pages. I have a Cricut, so I’m also thinking of designing pages there and having the Cricut write some things out for me. I loved using it to make my daughter’s Valentine’s cards for school, and I have made get-well cards and even paper flowers!

I will let you know once I get one of the designed pages with what I want written on it. I can show you the 3 pages I’ve designed. They have a header because they will be for specific things in my book.

The last page, I have to make the word Prayer plural. I have a few different prayers and just noticed that it says Prayer and not Prayers
