A little later than usual, my apologies! Time to put your feet up, grab a hot beverage and just chill for a few minutes. Enjoy!
If you could eat one meal, once a month, for free, and you don’t have to cook it, what would you have?
If you could choose the person to play you in a movie of your life, who would you choose?
Who was your favourite superhero as a child?
What are you really into at the moment, magickally?
Do you have a magickal goal for this month?
Here are mine:
I would have the phattest buffet you’ve ever seen. Everything in small portions, from roasted and bbq’d meats, vegetable curry, chinese, tapas to sandwiches and hedgehogs. Many hedgehogs but no cherries.
Probably Whoopi Goldberg, or Angela Bassett - someone who can really balance loving mother and don’t eff with me, and potray both with grace.
Superman. Christopher Reeves was the original and best. And that’s all there is to say about that.
Meditation and visualisation.
Same as last month - balance! It’s so easy to get lost in one thing, but on the other hand, if that’s what I feel I should be doing e.g. meditating, then who am I to disagree? Yep, that’s a journal entry later.
Welcome to the party and thanks for joining, vending machines and a dukebox in the back, bathrooms are on the first floor in between the powder room and the munchies room and I do love a good bangers, mash and gravy!
Can I not count calories and carbs? Because it would be Pizza. Not just any pizza but I pizza from my memory from this little place outside Cincinnati we visited only once. It had this Monster Cheese pizza and it had the most incredible garlic butter on the crust. YUM!
Huh. If you could get her some red hair dye that looks natural, Nikki Blonsky. She played Tracy Turnblad in 2007’s Hairspray and she was a great actress! I’m a curvy girl and gotta give representations to other curvy girls!
It was always a three way tie between Batman, Spider-man and Wonder Woman. I even had Wonder Woman Underoos that I would wear with a pair of my Mom’s chunky gold bracelets when I played. LOL!
I’m doing some abundance magic right not but I’m also trying to learn more about Celtic myths and magic and spirituality.
No, not really. I mean, I plan on the abundance magic working but other than that, nope.
Christopher Reeves was my favorite Superman, followed by Tim Daly and Tyler Hoechlin.
I miss Swiss Steak. Can’t get it in New Mexico. Top it off with German Chocolate Cake, warmed up with ice cream on top. Then again, allergies and IBS would kick in, so make mine issue-free rather than cost-free.
Can I go back in time a get a young Jodi Foster? She was a bit older than me, but I liked the movies in which I saw her act.
Lou Farigno as The Incredible Hulk! He made the character more realistic than any CGI later.
Honestly, I didn’t get into hero worship like most kids. I watched Chris Reves; his dad, George; Linda Carter; Adam West; Greatest American Hero; all that. It just wasn’t that big a deal. Wouldn’t miss an episode of Voyagers, though, not even for trick or treating! I prayed hard for Jon Erik Hexum after the accident and was blessed with intense peace.
Relaxing into the void. Some hopes of healing. Some meditations. Collecting printables for my digital BOS. I’m a bit boring right now, but that will change.
Getting myself organized, both on the forum and on an external hard drive. This will take much longer than a month, but I am working at it fairly steadily.
I’ve worked at pizza places for like, eight consecutive years. Have eaten them three days in a row when I didn’t have Sally cook something for me. I’m still not tired of pizza!
Heartburn would not stop me. I’d just buy Tums and eat it anyway. LOL!
Well… I am an Anglophile so bangers and mash are definitely on my list. Tracy is waving that flag, too. My SO is from East Anglia and we have a Brit shop near so we often indulge the joys of eating food from England. Memories and food are a good combination. If we are trying to cut carbs, we have bangers and scrambled eggs. Sounds plain but it is great. Mash is better, though.
Hugh Grant. Maybe acting like a cross from his character in Four Weddings and a Funeral and his character in “The Gentlemen”
Probably Superman though as a very young child, I adored Captain Video (movie serial)
I’m still into meditation. For me it is the basis for discovering all the rest.
Finish my rune stories, connect more with Tarot, find out if Kitsune is a match for me. Lately, the Kitsune is looking better than ever.
That sounds fun, but do they have Marmite. Love it or hate it, and Twiglets. Wish we had a US shop, I love beef jerkin but the stuff we get here is like a car tyre spiced with pepper
They have Marmite. Love it or hate it? I choose number 2. I think Brit kids who grew up with it are likely to love it. It is an acquired taste. Takes years. Years.
We have Twiglets available. I like those but Cadbury Chocolate Covered Tea Biscuits are wonderful. Actually, any Cadbury product from England floats my boat. The chocolate they export has stuff in it to withstand hot weather and it affects the taste. So… we have to find the real stuff.
Beef Jerky is represented by many flavors and brands here. Sort of like crisps in England. There are good and bad but there are lots of good.
My SO kept telling me about Marmite and kippers for breakfast (not necessarily together). We went back to England for an extended stay and she tried both a couple of times but gagged. Apparently it is an acquired taste that goes away.
Here’s a funny tale about marmite. I went to Paris with a friend years back and she brought her marmite with her. We went into a crêpe restaurant and she asked the waiter to give the marmite to the chef to put on her crepe. Oh my, a few minutes later the chef came out, cursing and said no way would he put this shit on his cooking and threw us out!
