That is a hoot (maybe it wasn’t at the time!) but, as much as I can’t stand Marmite, I’m not sure I would freak out like that. We put sweet or savory on crepes (or pancakes/waffles if no crepes) all the time. Foodies can be a little persnickety.

Let’s do this!!

  1. Uff, only once a month? Probably lasagna. I was thinking about Spanich recipies like Gazpacho or potato stew but I couldn’t eat it ONLY one a month!! jajajj

Well bless my cards, I forgot Fun Friday! :open_mouth: my apologies lovelies, and to make it up to you, for one week only it’s Serene Saturday…with a bonus question! So kick back, relax, and slide into the weekend :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

  1. If you could be the lead or supporting character in any movie, who would it be and why?
  2. What’s your favourite snack at the moment?
  3. If you could go back to a famous point in history, when would you go to and why?
  4. Tea, coffee or neither?
  5. What’s your least favourite food?
  6. Tell us about something you do in your magickal practices that you just started doing because it felt right to you?

My answers:

  1. If you could be the lead or supporting character in any movie, who would it be and why?

Probably Dr Strange in the Multiverse - mastering the mystical arts, travelling from universe to universe, all the good and bad of magick. It would’ve been The Scarlet Witch but she lost her way bless her.

  1. What’s your favourite snack at the moment?

BBQ Pepperami - it’s an addicition and I don’t care. There are worse things I could be addicted to.

  1. If you could go back to a famous point in history, when would you go to and why?

Right now, I think I’d go back to just before the witch trials - I feel like there was so much history lost, it would be awesome to gain knowledge directly from the ancestors before they moved on.

  1. Tea, coffee or neither?
    Lift Lemon Tea, the instant powder - it tastes like nectar from Heaven. Haven’t had traditional tea or coffee in ages.

  2. What’s your least favourite food?
    Anything spicy; it doesn’t like me, and I don’t get food that you can’t taste because your mouth is on fire.

  3. Tell us about something you do in your magickal practices that you just started doing because it felt right to you?
    Knocking 3 times on a deck before I open it and asking permission to enter - I was taught that it’s rude to enter someone’s house without knocking.

Yay! I had forgotten this too. LOL! Sorry, I’ll remember next time. Hopefully.

  1. I don’t think I’d want to be a lead. They all go through so much crap. But if I could be any character I think it would be Dr. Watson. If you read the actual books, he’s pretty darn smart on his own, which thankfully they are bringing back i the movies. But to be able to watch Sherlock Holmes work would be just awesome. To his his mind click, well, he’s been a favorite character of mine since childhood. I’d love to see his work.

  2. I’m trying to do without snack and pop and things but I do break down every once in a while and have a Snickers.

  3. Oh, this one is difficult. It would be a tie, I think. Between the Signing of the Magna Carta, or better yet, the Creation of Stonehenge.

I’m not sure I could chose. Being a Robin Hood fan, I’d love to see Prince John having to sign the Magna Carta. But yeah, I think I’d have to go with seeing the stones being put up at Stonehenge. To figure out that mystery would be awesome!

  1. Tea. I love coffee, but that’s if you put in like 1/4 of a cup of flavored creamer. I love the smell of coffee though. Not even wax melts can copy the smell of real coffee brewing. I just don’t make it though, because I don’t want to spend money on coffee.

But considering how expensive wax melts is, I might change my mind!

  1. Live and onions. Just no. NO. :nauseated_face:

  2. Morning devotionals. There are some days I miss because I don’t feel well or I’m overtired, but I love doing my morning devotionals and morning prayers. It just seems right to give thanks for a new day.

You’re most welcome @Amethyst, it’s a pleasure! Things will be a little less chaotic when K is back at school, so hopefully a few less things will fall out of my brain, and I’ll have more time to breathe lol :laughing:

P.S. totally agree on the liver and onions, my mother subjected us to that abomination too.

Have you ever watched Jennifer’s Body? It’s fun, but it got panned at the theaters some reason but now it’s deemed a cult classic. You might like to be Jennifer. Me, I’d love to be Needy. LOL!

Why? I love absurd comedy and being around a genius at it would be a dream.

    Loaded chocolate chunk cookies (biscuits).

Greedy version: Back to the late 70s and buy stock in Apple and Microsoft
Love of art version: Visit Paris during the time of the Impressionists
Altruistic version(s): Visit Madame Curie and explain how to avoid getting poisoned, warn the Donner Party to wait until Spring, help Turing get passed his depression, explain to the crew of the ‘Lady Be Good’ what directional ambiguity means, warn the Lookouts on the Titanic, etc, etc.

    Either. Coffee in the States and Columbia, Peru, etc. Tea in England (they still do it best)

    Pizza. Don’t know why.

True! I just loved Needy though. I can relate better to the nerdy girl than the cheerleader/popular girl.

But yeah, fun movie. I was kinda cheering them both on at some points.

So, kinda like a mix of Black Widow and Daredevil? That would be cool!

I remember Mom making herself some one time when I was little. Like under eight. OMG, the smell! :nauseated_face: The smell was terrible! And the look of the raw liver before she cooked it. Urgh. I know it’s supposed to be healthy and have iron and all, but I’d rather take vitamins!

It got panned for sure but I think that was a typical critic review. I’ve watched it a couple of times. I thought Amanda Seyfried’s character was great. Of course, Megan Fox was hot but I would rather walk into a dark alley with Amanda (especially at the end).

Apple TV, Prime, Google Play and Microsoft have it for rent (4 buck in US). I’m sure if you wait a while it will float around to one of the free channels. I think it has already played them at least once.

When I was young, I wanted to play Tia Castaway in Escape to Witch Mountain. Kim Richards did a great job! I felt more like I could belong somewhere, like I wouldn’t have to go through what was happening in my real life, like maybe there might be such a thing as love somewhere in the universe- not on the planet it’s farthest from.

I’ve grown up since then. :sleepy_face:

I can’t eat most snack foods anymore. Relegated to pudding, jello, ice cream, or candy. If I freeze pudding, it tastes like fudge bars, so I’ll pick that.

Can I take a scanner and computer? I’d love to rescue the lost library of Alexandria! Ooh. Battery power would be an issue. Drat!

Neither. If I need a hot drink, I prefer hot cocoa, thanks.

Umm… Do I choose eggs for the rashes, potatoes for IBS-C, or pork for arthritis pain? Let’s just say “breakfast.”

I don’t like it, but to everything, there is a season. Now is my season of agoraphobia. I can handle being out with my driver, but not alone. There are too many changes going on around me. Nothing is familiar anymore. People I thought I could trust have been stabbing each other in the back lately. It is very hard for me to trust right now.

Oh. That might not be magickal enough. It will have to do for now, though.

The four horsemen of apocalypse of course: Amazon, Apple, Google and Microsoft :rofl: Don’t think I want to feed any of those, they’re big enough already. But I’ll have to see if I run across it somewhere else.

Meeting people is so much easier when there’s not a hundred others projecting their energy around! :joy: I’ve always been the type to go deep with a few rather than keep it shallow with a few dozen. Definitely a nerd thing :grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:
