I was thinking more of the connection to Lilith herself and her wildly unapologetic sexuality, and how I also have my Sun, Venus and Mercury in Cancer too… But yes, I do play it down a lot because I need to live in a society where it’s still shamed a lot… learning to do it less with people who can handle it

Lilith in Cancer has felt ashamed for being needy or dependent for whatever reason and feels awkward or even angry with people who display these traits without apology. Their nurturing nature was stifled in some way and they can feel very uncomfortable asking for help and/or expressing their own nurturing nature as a result. This discomfort can lead to extremes of behavior in this area and then misgivings afterward, and the cycle then continues. Working on self-acceptance is the key to empowerment. This can also apply to Lilith in the 4th house.
Asking for help has been a pain point for us, and showing our loving nature… we’ve got a lot better there
I only learnt to enjoy hugging friends this year. And I’ve recently been learning to use the “L” word with people who aren’t my partner. But it still feels… Weird. Disingenuous? Maybe that’s just my walls talking. I hope I haven’t ever come across as cold at all with you.
I still don’t know how to ask for help, though… It doesn’t even cross my mind most of the time, so I’m not sure how to go about that. I’m also told that my ASD and ADHD don’t help in that regard. But once I finally ask, I do see that the results are always amazing. Have you found anything that helps you?
I’m going to have to read the descriptions more thoroughly first. I haven’t been able to focus on it at all yet. So they’re just mysterious symbols/words to me so far. Maybe I’ll have to copy-paste the text somewhere I can use my magical ADHD font…
But I will definitely tell you more than you need to know when I get to it.

It is a kind of scary and loaded word… I prefer to talk around it too But I’ve more recently found that it can be something to bond over too, so that’s sweet at least
Not to me at least… definitely not after getting to know you. Maybe a little scary at first Then I realized that here’s a vampire I can love
They do help with bonding with other neurodivergent people though… we kinda have a common brain language
Otherwise… it’s really been a huge mental makeover, over time. Getting to know myself so well that there’s just no doubt if someone tries to tell us something different, it helps with the fear of “what if they say something mean”. I don’t know if that’s been the block for you or something different?

I’ve been slowly getting to know the signs and the planets, the houses I still need to check every time. And the sheer amount of the aspects just overwhelms me! Good thing there’s no rush with any of this…
You wouldn’t be the first to imply I’m intimidating. Apparently, I look very serious and overly composed when I’m by myself. But usually, no one dares tell me until years later.
It was for a long time. But it’s proving a hard habit to break even without the fear now. I guess I need some kind of… thing… to snap me out of the all-too-automatic “not asking.”

@starborn recommended a great one & you can also use the app TimePassages. It’s an app run by AstroGraph which is another great site for astrology. I think Cafe Astrology has some easier interpretations of things, but AstroGraph isn’t to far off either.
@Sivonnah Oh, I have done the same thing! Then it asks for my sign-in & I’m like… "Hmmm… so when did I do this? What email did I use? So I have gone through my apps & app store to uninstall or remove apps from my account that I no longer use. Then I remembered that I also have to either go to the sites or the app to delete my accounts from them so they aren’t just idle
Why do make things more complicated for ourselves! I think our brains are so overloaded ! We can only fit so much in there! We’re also too busy to calm our thoughts and absorb information. many of us don’t get the deep sleep that allows our bodies and minds to rest and rejuvenate!
