That’s so awesome, @Ostara I didn’t know you could do that!
I didn’t either. It was an experiment! Lol! My husband did it with a half rotten tomato and he got a bunch of tomato plants from it, so, I tried it with a pineapple top.
I took these pictures yesterday because we were supposed to get snow today!!! Well, the sun’s shining. The weatherman did not guess very well! I’m sorry we didn’t get the moisture that we need so much, but I’m happy I get to keep my flowers a little bit longer!
I should have become a meteorologist… the only people that get paid so much to be wrong
Sounds like Mother Nature pulled a 180 on the weatherman- She does like to keep us on our toes!
It looks gorgeous there, Marsha, and your gardens are lovely as always. Hang in there, flowers! I hope you can enjoy them a bit longer
Love this so Zen and relaxing .

My “Magic Garden” doesn’t look too magical! It just looks and feels very cold, currently, it’s 6 degrees F, and 1 degree with the wind chill!
So after opening this picture on my laptop, there appears to be a small glowing goddess rising out of the snow Hmmm… I do see some magical symbolism here!
Is it a Shining Goddess or a Snow Fairy? Fairy’s often appear as flashes of light, so I do wonder. Wow! I see this as a good omen, a blessing.
With love and magick
always
I think your winter garden looks very magickal, @Marsha- the sunlight on the snow is enchanting to see!
And hello little glowing garden goddess- she is so lovely! Perhaps she is enjoying the snow while she waits for the return of all your beautiful flowers
@marsha Definitely not a snow fairy IMO, I think a garden goddess is more likely! Fairies aren’t likely to be caught on film. And for them to be there you would probably be luring them in with something so you would know about it. You may have your very own garden goddess! Neat!
@marsha your magick garden is beautiful!
The colors in that photo, in my opinion, are beautiful. I’m feeling the magic that will be coming to life soon enough.
Thank you @ana6
It’s interesting that you replied to me when we were getting a lot of snow and wind! Even so, I know that the “Magic will be coming to life soon!”
Blessings always
my friend
It’s been warmer than normal here so I’ve been able to start cleaning up different parts of my yard!
My son is making us a new brick walkway to the fire pit pit & is going to put perennials between the house & the walkway too!
I just raked the front garden & moved our birdfeeders today too!
That sounds really nice @Susurrus
I would love that in my yard. We can’t have open fires very often, because Colorado is one of the western states suffering from drought. It’s been a very dry winter, with temperature extremes, both lows, and highs. It was another extreme today with about 6 inches of snow and high winds. I am looking forward to warmer weather so I can start working in the yard.
Big hugs my friend
In the summer if it’s too dry we can’t have fires or of the winds are too high for the ae reasons. Living by the ocean, we can get some pretty gusty winds.
We have a pit that is dug into the ground with 2 feet of bricks built up around it. Then we have grates we can put on top so we can cook on it & so nothing falls into it. We have metal covers that go over them so nothing can fall in or pop out when we are finished.
We aren’t allowed to have completely open fires. We have to have a pit of some type that is contained & have a hose or some type of extinguisher nearby too.
It’s really strange for it to be so mild this time of year for us. Usually its much colder & more snow.
@marsha! The weather is so unseasonably warm right now that our plants are confused:
Our random crocuses in our yard are starting to come up!
@Susurrus
Your Random Crocuses are beautiful! Thank you for making me smile
your flowers look so happy
Wishing you a wonderful day my friend
You’re very welcome! I found some hints of other flowers poking through! I’ll have to keep an eye on them the next few days
Beautiful! Spring is on the way!
Look at those cuties!
There are a few little things trying to come up in our yard too- I’m terrified there will be another storm. It would be quite the shock for them!
Here’s to hoping they’ll have a smooth and safe ride into spring!
