It’s obviously not my garden but I do have a few flower pots!  :rose: :blossom: :cherry_blossom: :sunflower: :hibiscus:

We won’t have a garden for a bit yet-

It is nice to see the pretty flowers here as ours are a few weeks off.

I only have bulbs coming up, but most are not blooming yet, oh, and of course, weeds! I won’t be able to plant until late May or June, it’s still below-freezing most nights here. All in good time. I’m looking forward to seeing your beautiful flowers… later. Big hugs :people_hugging:

Oh thank you @BryWisteria & @Solasta_Amore! @Phoenix_Rose yeah, it may be a little bit there… but it will happen!

As I was walking my pupper, I came across Celandine coming up & bloomed! (they look like mini daffodils)… I’ll have to remember to bring my phone out with me tomorrow to take a picture.

We had such a bad drought last summer, and then a freeze in December that was super crazy, I lost a lot of plants. Some of them were from my mom who passed 5 years ago, so that was heartbreaking. :cry:It’s the circle of life, right? Anyway, I wasn’t sure what I would plant in the front flower bed. I have had red hibiscus for years, but lost them. I went to a plant shop today and I’m going back to hibiscus.

On our way to the plant shop the wildflowers were so beautiful. I started a post about wildflowers in different areas of the world. I think it would be so awesome to see the different plants in so many different areas.

If you were to start a witchy garden, what would be the top 10 plants you would plant?

Only 10 @Phoenix_Rose? :astonished:
That might be hard to limit it to only 10, but I’ll try!

  1. Sunflowers
  2. Marigolds
  3. Lilacs
  4. Hollyhocks
  5. Lavender
  6. Iris
  7. Yarrow
  8. Dandelions
  9. Clover
  10. Violas

… Dianthus, Roses, Daffodils, Blanket Flowers, Mullien, Sage, Tulips… and the list continues… And I can’t forget Morning Glories!

:upside_down_face: I’m stopping now!!!

I currently am lucky to have annual hosta, hyacinth, dandelion, forsythia, clover, cherry blossom, daffodil, and lilac. My current top additions are:
sunflower - marigold - heather - American mountain ash (rowan), sweet pea, lavender

:joy:. I thought it might be hard to come up with 10 starter plants. Apparently I was so wrong.
I love morning glories!!

I didn’t realize that all those plants were witchy. I recognize some as witchy, other I just thought were pretty.

I have more magical plants than I realized. I still have so much to learn!

There are still a few here on the list I want to add, like roses and to replant sunflowers. I also want to add echinacea.

This is a great list. I like how you both have dandelion

Thank you!!!
