Hi @Mysterie, I have some Moss Agate buried near where I had planted bulbs for Gladiolas… I wasn’t sure how they would do & each year we’ve had them come back
There are other stones that are good for plants too… 
Off the top of my head, aside from Moss Agate, these are good ones for plants too
- Clear Quartz
- Black Tourmaline
- Black Obsidian
- Amethyst
That’s all I can think of right now though, when I have a chance I will go through my crystal information & see if I can find more information.

Not quite a garden picture so much as a yard picture, but I wanted to share our new “golden carpet”!

No dandelions here 
I partly wonder if it’s because everyone in Florida cuts their grass so often because it grows so fast. Or it could also just be where I’m located. That’s a lot of dandelions though!

We have far fewer dandelions this year than we normally do
I have seen at least 3 bunnies 
though in our front yard regularly the last few days though
I also realized we have about 4 mini bleeding hearts that seem to have sprouted from the larger one we wanted to transplant… & a smaller one in our garden by the porch that I forgot we had transplanted last year… Leave it to me to forget about transplanting something. 
Our Irises, daisies, somethings… (they were a gift from someone that works with my husband), regular hostas, & we call the next 3 Jurassic hostas… have all started coming up too! Along with our mass amounts of lilies 
We do have a… bush I think its a bush… with green on it… but we aren’t exactly sure what its going to do yet. I’ll see if INaturalist or Google Lens has some ideas of what it could be

@MeganB I’m not sure, but my guess would be that a lack of dandies would be from frequent cutting and lawn care. They are one of the few plants I’ve seen growing just about everywhere I’ve been- pretty universal (and incredibly hardy!). Or perhaps it’s just not quite the season there yet! Maybe they’ll come later in the year (perhaps the Fall?)
@Susurrus So exciting! It sounds like your whole yard is coming alive- you have so many fun plants (and bunnies!) coming out to play!

We have an interesting law here in Pueblo, Colorado…
Tall dandelions and other weeds are banned in Pueblo
Pueblo might be the Home of Heroes, but no matter how much valor local residents have displayed during their lifetimes, they’re not legally permitted to keep dandelions on their property taller than ten inches. Other weedy culprits include bindweed, leafy spurge, Canada thistle, and Russian knapweed. It’s interesting to think about Pueblo’s police officers studying botany to help them weed out offenders.
I wonder if they really enforce this.

You know, I think you’re right. I did a bit of searching around and it looks like the Summer heat and humidity aren’t that great for dandelions. I’ll have to keep an eye out in the fall for them!
Interesting is the right word choice for that!

@marsha… that’s definitely an interesting law… I’m kind of curious now too as to whether or not they actually enforce that one… is there someone going around with a measuring tape of some sort & holding it up to dandelions & others to see how tall they are?

That’s a very curious law to put in place- I’m wondering the same as you! Are there dandelion police roaming about with measuring sticks, checking up on everyone’s dandies? That sure would be a sight to see!
It always makes me scratch my head when I hear about strange laws. Why have laws that are really difficult (or impossible) to enforce? Seems like a fast track to losing credibility to me… but I guess that’s a whole legal can of worms that I don’t want to open up right now lol! Only worms allowed here are the much happier garden worms! 
That makes sense about the heat! Well, I hope you’ll be blessed with an abundance of dandelions in the fall

I was working in my magic garden today and I had some visitors.
Our feels like temperature in Texas right now is 96. No wonder I’m sweating! By the time I get my outdoor space like I want it, it will be too hot to sit outside. Lol!

I know what you mean, I have a lot of work to do in my garden, hopefully, I can get everything done before it gets too hot. A feels like temp of 96 F is hot! 
We have dry heat here where I live, so I’m usually ok as long as I can find some shade to work in.
