I was up early this morning feeling very excited and honored for this day. Had another moment where as I got ready for work, words began to flow, I quickly grabbed my paper and pen and started to write these words to honor this day. I share with you my words through poetry.
Master Sun
Deep within, I am filled with energizing fun
On this said day the 10th of June 2021,
I write these lines as the magick flows
To honor you dear sun with your fiery glow.
As I sat at my desk, I began to write
About you dear sun with great delight,
As I embrace your strength and radiant light
Full of power and shinning bright.
At this moment I am excited to see
How bold you look in your glory,
As your radiants shines with solid gold
You tell me a story as you unfold.
You remind us of who we are
Where we’re going and destine to be!
You shine for all things great and small
Father sun! you shine for me.
I live by you dear sun, and
I am loved by the moon,
But you keep me grounded
Energized and in tuned.
I honor you father sun
As I honor mother moon,
But on this day, you hold mysteries of great power
In this month of June.

I used to write poetry A LOT! I had books & files full of them. Then I wrote one for class & wound up with a call home because of the the meaning… I didn’t tell them any meaning, it was interpreted the poem was about a train. I kept my poems in a box in my room with other things that were important to me that I wanted to keep. It got left in the living room while I was sick & my mom threw it out. Before I knew what happened they had already come to pick it up. That’s around the time I stopped writing poetry. I haven’t done it in at least 25 years now. I don’t think I could anymore. I love to read it though! You do a wonderful job!

I hadn’t really thought about why I don’t write poetry until today & after seeing so many beautiful posts in the forum. It just hit me this morning what happened. I hope one day I can write them again. If I do start or anything good comes from it, I will definitely share it here. I wish I still had some of them to look at & just get a feel for them. Right now, I don’t even know where I would start or what to write about… I suppose that one day it will just come to me & happen.

I’m getting a feeling of your story that that part of you fell into shadow, together with details of what happened. That could be something to accommodate into your shadow work if or when it feels right.

ohh. I really sorry to here this. I my self had so many poetry that over time have been lost. I had been a while before I started to record my work on Wattpad platform, at least I would have them for future referencing and for sharing. I think you can still give poetry writing another go @Susurrus you just never know. I must say though I myself also enjoy reading poems.

Oh, yes that part of my life is definitely in shadow. I had tackled some of that last month. I may do some more this month, it’s hard to weed through, but I will get there.
