I think our poor little Cali, who we rescued along with her 4 kittens 15 years ago, is letting us know it’s time for her to move on. She is not well at all, gastro problems overnight and now very listless. And of course it’s a holiday weekend, so we are trying to find an emergency vet open.
I have prayed to Bastet and she seems resting now.
Oh @jayne. What a fraught situation. I’m glad to hear Cali is resting right now. She’s a gorgeous girl. 
I will keep you both in my thoughts as you keep looking for a nearby open vet. When you call your regular vet, don’t they give an emergency option? That may be your best bet.

Thank you everyone. Bastet heard my prayer yesterday and within an hour or two Cali was evidently feeling much better. The tummy issues had passed and she had eaten and drank some water and was resting comfortably.
We even found a 24hr emergency vet not too far away, for future reference. We didn’t take her in yesterday, since she was apparently feeling much better I felt it was some little bug that had passed.

@jayne thank goodness! I’ve been praying to Bast all day too! I’m so sorry that you are going through this! If you need to talk, I am here for you! Cali is really beautiful by the way. Just remember that you have provided her with a great life.
That’s so great! I’d still take her into my regular vet and get her checked, in case there’s something moving around in her digestion track that’ll get stuck. But I’m glad she’s better!
Yes we plan to take to our vet this week for a check up.
