I’m willing to join!
I will join also~!
It’s already the 24th here, so…
Today I went for a walk. I haven’t been able to since getting sick because I needed to be near a bathroom. But today, I didn’t. It was nice.
I’m in! Since it’s the 24th (wee hours of the morning 4 am) I will share my morning routine. I always wake up between 3-4 in the morning. First thing I do is make my coffee and then feed the animals. I then do my bathroom routine (potty, teeth, comb my hair). By this time my coffee is done so I go grab my coffee, crawl back and bed and spend time meditating, relaxing and drinking my coffee. At 6:30 am my quiet alone time is done. This evening I will share what I have done during the day for self care.
This is a great idea!
This is such a wonderful idea! I’ll share!
This morning, I finished a book I’ve been immersed in for the last few days. Actually, I started it on Monday evening and finished it this morning so… less than three days It’s called The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. I think it’s classed as a psychological thriller? I’m not sure, but it 100% threw me for a loop! I’m calling this my self-care because it’s been a while since I’ve just sat and read a book. Usually, I’ll pop in my headphones and listen to an audiobook while I’m doing something else, usually something “productive” – this time? Nope. I plopped myself down and read a physical book
What a wonderful way to start off my morning by seeing this post
I started my morning with some unexpected cuddle time with Turbo Kitty followed by my Balance App morning mediation.
Today's plans are to go for a run, and then do an at-home pedicure as I'm long overdue for summer color!I also will do this today
The same as well
It will be nice to join as well!
I should join this. I’m not great at self-care. I go 100mph then burn out . I’m useless at yoga, get distracted at meditation, (still can’t get more than 20 minutes roughly of Uti-Seta, let alone all night! ) But I love rocks and stones, and untangling things (ropes, chains etc). It’s moments like these my brain stops. So I found this, and thought I might try it as a form of “rock yoga”.
Lovely video and a beautiful idea.
However
I am however going to put on my biologist cap and share why people shouldn’t move rocks from streams, along trails or in parks to make these. In your own backyard? Go for it. Otherwise, I suggest you leave the rocks unpiled for these reasons.

Thanks for the heads up
I hear you. I have this pattern too.
However maybe we can make self care a fluid easy thing instead of a rigid one. I have started chanting and singing when I am walking or doing dishes or need to shift my mood. 20 min of meditation doesn’t have to happen. You can do 2 or 5. Ir is about the action not the length. Love you friend
I went to acupuncture, chanted the Kali mantra. Did my errands on my bike cause it makes it more fun. Will write Gratitude list by end of day.
Glad you are feeling better snd not attached to the toilet
Thankyou, will try this, less is more as the saying goes.
I am brand new but I would love to participate!
This morning I said morning prayers to Bastet and Gaia, took my empath protection bag with me to work, and when I came home I took a relaxing bubblebath while listening to fairy ambience music and reading my new book that came in the mail today
I got my run in
then treated myself to a cute (and heavily discounted) Bee houseplant pot while shopping for ingredients for a yummy dinner
and got in a 30-minute nap.
I plan on yoga after dinner.
Absolutely! The more the merrier
I rediscovered this post this morning.
Starting a 30-minute morning ritual for mindfulness?
So, my goal is to get my backpack set up.
