Did morning chakra opening yoga for 10- 15 min.
Worked from home.
Went for 10 minute walk after work.
July 30
ā¢ At 4:00am I woke up brushed my teeth took my medicine and then took the dog on a walk
ā¢ after the walk I took some time to burn some sage on my back porch and meditate
ā¢ I got on spells8 checked my notifications
And read some posts
ā¢ now itās time too do the laundry, dust and vacuum
ā¢ fed the dog and took her on another walk
ā¢ cooked dinner
ā¢ watched a show with my husband and stayed up all night
It was a stressful day and I talked myself out of going for a run but I am happy with focusing on the self care that I did have the energy for. But todayās a new day!!!
My self-care today was doing some morning yoga after being sore from disc golf last night This is the video I followed!
July 30th
- I took a relaxing bath. I used bath salts and candles themed around my third eye and crown chakras.
- I ate cookies and cream ice cream while watching a few episodes of The Man in the High Castle with my partner. I donāt usually consume sugary desserts or such passive entertainment. But I was feeling anxious for no dang reason at all, soā¦
- I went for a walk. The
freshfrosty af air and gentle exercise helped to clear my mind.
July 31st
- I did a reading with the four starter questions for the Tarot challenge.
- Iām still maintaining my commitment to keeping an average daily distance of 5km! Yep, I went for a walk.
- My partner and I listened to some beautiful and nostalgic music together.
August has begun, soā¦ I shall see where this month takes me.

- Did my Wake Up meditation from Balance App
- Went for a lovely 5k run
- Gathered some wonderful oak gals to make my own ink
- Did a Candle Spell for Letting Go
- Put together my first incense blend
- Did 20 minutes of yoga
- Fell asleep to the balance app meditation
August 1st
- Started my day with the group tea ritual
- indulged in a free iced vanilla cappuccino at the car dealership while I waited
- Attended my compassion meditation group
- Called a friend and spoke for 20 minutes
- Ran 4 miles
- Attended my global meditation group
- Getting ready to take a short nap to recharge

August 1st
For my self care today, I had my daughter come clean my house. Since I have been sick for 6 weeks my housework has really falling behind and it was depressing me. She brought my 3 grandsons with. It was great to see the boys. They came and sat on my bed with me and entertained me in between playing video games. She did an amazing job and I feel so much more relaxed about my bed rest now. and the boys filled my heart with love and joy.

Today, I did a physically difficult self-care thingā¦ well, two now that I think about it.

We have a pile of branches and leaves in my backyard that the previous owner of our house just left here. Weāve been slowly cleaning them up but our brush dump was closed all of last month. Well, itās open now so I popped the trailer on the Jeep, loaded up the trailer twice and hauled off the load while my partner was at work. Self-care because I want my backyard to be nice and a pretty place to be but also itās the first time I have ever pulled a trailer in my lifeā¦ so hooray for not messing anything up!

I had a bowl of ice cream as a treat after I got home from more errands and Iām trying desperately to not have food guilt because the ice cream is something I wanted.
August 2nd
- Walked a few dogs at the shelter
- Got in almost 2 miles doing so
- Spent some time at a new volunteer position helping take care of foster kittens at a vet clinic
- bought myself a huge papaya to snack on
- Got in a short nap
- Logging off now to do yoga and meditate before bed.
August 2nd
Pretty much slept through the entire day. Fever spiked and wouldnāt go down all day. Think my body had enough and kicked this walking pneumonia butt! Iām feeling pretty good so far this morning. Fever broke last night. . Still taking it easy for the next couple days so as not to get things going again.
Good job on pulling that trailer @MeganB and donāt beat yourself up about the ice cream after everything you got done in a day you definitely deserve it. Good work Girl!!
Thank you Honestly, if I couldnāt pull the trailer my dad would probably disown me (jokes, of course!) because heās been a truck driver his entire life but I did it!

Uhhā¦ self-care for yesterday was going out to dinner with my s/o while our kiddo was out with friends! Today isā¦ Iām not sure Iāve got work to do and then house stuff to manage. And Iām still on coffee #1 ā I guess weāll say so far itās sleeping in until 8am because that never happens!
Today Iām going to relax and make coffee and do laundry
Huh, Iāve missed quite a few days! So Iāll start over with this month!
- August 1st: I went for a couple of long drives and took a nap
- August 2nd: I took a nap in the morning and a shower when I got up. Afterward, I used my lavender/oatmeal lotion and then headed out to do my errands.
- August 3rd: I have been using my journal today and meditating to help with my mood. I drew tarot for the first time in the AM since I canāt remember, which felt good! It came a bit more naturally than I expected, too.
Now to start using my tarot journal and making this part of my daily practice again
August 3rd
- This is a tough one. I ran 10 miles (which is self-care both physically and mentally) but ended up with heat exhaustion again, which almost negates the intention.
- Took a long nap
- Treated myself and ordered a new tarot study guide and a tarot journal
- Did 20 minutes of yoga
- Meditated for 30 minutes
August 4th
- Trying to start my day off better and have babka rising at home for lemon blueberry babka to make after I get off work.

Found out the kitty who was Henriās sibling for 9 years and my mom adopted her 6 years ago. She will also be crossing the rainbow bridge this coming Tuesday. I felt completely depressed and drained after this so I allowed myself to rest. And I watched the two newest Ghostbusters movies.

I am noticing this self care practice is about going slow so I can process my greif. This is a newer practice. I usually try to go as fast as possible to heal. But I am learning that doesnāt work.
I havenāt really posted lately. My self care has been all staying in bed, following doctors orders and lots of sleep. Still trying to recover from walking pneumonia
