The "M" symbol in hands!

Has anyone th “M” symbol on the palm of the hands?
Do you know the meaning of it?
I’ve got some bits from a numerology book:
The opposite is “W”.
It’s value is 13.
Card Tarot is Death, but here means regeneration.
Only once I’ve read it meant nothing, but not what I heard from a Chinese soothsayer :rat:
Have it on both palms, but mines has a line on the base of the symbol, forming 2 large and one small triangles.
According to the soothsayer, represent the 3 dragons!!!
The symbol is more common in women than men.

That’s very interesting. I don’t have the M symbol on my hand but I love palmistry.

I found this bit about the letter M:

…The letter M represented on a person’s palm is pretty rare. And those who do find them are said to be special. The marking is believed to be a blessing of good fortune, and an indication that those with the marking will thrive in the careers they choose, because they have strong self-motivation and discipline.
They are masters at seeing through lies and deceit; almost always able to figure out if someone is lying or cheating. - Source

Likely a complete coincidence but this is the second time tonight I’ve read something about letters on hands. How odd!

The other was about an X on the palm on a page I follow on Instagram.

Just looked at my palms and I do have an M on both palms with an X in the middle…

I’ve been curious about this too, I’ve been wondering if everyone has this symbol or if it has a special significance!

It is believed that for right-handed people, the lines on your left-hand indicate the character traits, personality and destiny you are born with. For left handed individuals, the opposite will apply. So, bad luck if your ‘M’ is on the hand you write with.

I have a very prominent M on both of my hands

Mine are pretty similar. First time I see one almost identical.
Soothsayer in Covent garden, a few years back, mentioned what just Francisco found. Plus they look like 3 triangles- 3 dragons!

Well, if I remember correctly, didn’t say anything bad about it.

According to tha numerology book, M stands for Money?, inverted: Wealth?
Are there any good books on palmistry, because there are a myriad of symbols that are not properly explained.

That would match my life experience pretty well… I don’t really know anything about palmistry so I couldn’t say, I’d love to hear an expert opinion on this

I think the wording in that sentence (in the article I linked above) makes it confusing.

What they meant is: Usually the non-dominant hand is the palm read in palmistry. The other hand (dominant) is ignored during the reading.

So if you only have an “M” shape in the hand you write with (dominant), and don’t have it in the other one (non-dominant) then you don’t have the trait.

You have a clear M in both hands so good for you @CelestiaMoon! :four_leaf_clover:

I found the book Palmistry for All to be very helpful.

Apparently the Kindle version doesn’t come with images, which are the most useful part so here’s another link to it: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/20480/20480-h/20480-h.htm

@Rowan
I’m sure you have very good lines!
I watched Pan’s Labyrinth and one character in the banquet room had an eye on each palm. I found it extraordinary.
He placed his hands on his face to see around.
Makes me think, are our palms showing us the way to walk in life?:mouse2::taurus:

I have all the lines. Now my skin is so dry my finger prints won’t work on my phone :see_no_evil:

I tried without the pen and you just couldn’t see it. I can try in the sunlight.

Apply some dye to your skin, beetroot juice perhaps?
You can try scanning on a printer.
Apply aloe Vera and drink more water, your skin will thank you for it.:joy_cat:

I should do at least one of those :joy: thanks
