I wanted to share what happened today. I went on the walk with my dog and my husband and my husband had his pendulum and I was grounding myself. I wondered what was going on with My Son cause I haven’t heard from him. My husband was wondering, maybe he’s in jail let’s ask the pendulum! So he tuned the pendulum the way he does it. He does it differently than I do, but he asked if my son was in jail and the pendulum said yes. I quickly got online and checked to see if he was in jail. He actually is inn there and he is right know as we speak !!

CHALLENGE ENTRY
When I first read this the other day I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. So I decided to think on it for a while. But the universe decided to intervene.
So I haven’t been able to be on here and as active as I like to be lately, and that’s because my job was working me way too many hours.
But things finally got to a point the other day where I ended up quitting my job due to the physical stress and the mental stress. So to let you know what this has to do with the challenge I completely was afraid to do it but I kept getting these Whispers I would get shows that would show up in my feed on YouTube I would get different books that would appear. And they all kind of centered around the small nagging thoughts that I had already had in my head.
So I’m not sure if anybody else does this but at the beginning of the year I sit down with a couple of Decks that I don’t mind not using for the rest of the year so that I can do a yearly pull. I lay the cards face down when I pull them so that I don’t see them and then I will put them in labeled envelopes for each month and seal them. So on the new moon of that month I usually open my cards. (Pisces 
season 2/26) I will usually set them on my altar and meditate around them for the first few days up to a week until the first quarter moon. I’ve been really working with the moon cycles and manifesting lately. It’s one of my favorite things to do. So then last night 3/1. I got two experience a phoenix fire ritual with a group of ladies online and we used the star and the tower as a meditation for that ritual. But I took it a little further and pulled some Spirit guides from my animal spirit Oracle deck by Colette Baron Reid and then a Soul’s Journey card. And all this time in between last week and this week all these different cards have been coming up constantly for me. When I go on insight timer and listen to some of the live events on there some of the same cards are coming up. So I can’t not listen to these messages that are coming to me.
I’ve been absolutely terrified of quitting my job and just stepping into this role of becoming a spiritual healer and creating my own metaphysical business. Not knowing how things were going to work out and if it would be a failure. How would I support myself? Telling myself it’s not the right timing. Even though I’ve made wonderful connections to some very powerful women that are cheering me on to continue on this journey and telling me that I have a message to give to the world and it’s time. So I guess it’s time. I really don’t know where the money is going to come from and I’ve got some big decisions to make this month. I’ll be getting one more check from work and I have a little bit of money saved up. One of the things that has been coming to me is to buy a van and turn it into a camper so that I can travel and have the freedom to do what I need and what to do. The van will be paid for and I won’t have to be paying rent everyday and tied to a society that wants to keep you in their box. I don’t fit in a box. I’m an octagon. So I have to make the decision and maybe I’ll consult the cards again or maybe I’ll find a different way to do some divination and share with you guys again.
But the cards that I put in my envelope were the magician for manifestation and turning Visions into reality. Releasing anger was my mindful messages card. And that is freeing myself in expanding to love. And my Rune Oracle deck was Mannaz about myself and the human race and social order in the way I interact in it. And then last night I got the chameleon spirit and the spiders. The chameleon is act as if and the spider is make your dreams real. And my soul’s Journey card was balance bringing up state of Perfect Harmony into my world. Pretty clear message I think
Oh and I didn’t even have that tarot spread When I pulled the cards that were in my envelope in January because its in my 2025 witch planner that I hadn’t even received yet. But they aligned with the questions.
I thought I had a picture of the candles and the fire ritual last night but anyway this is the remnants. I left it to brew on my altar all night. LOL

I’m glad you were able to release because we don’t want a pain body. I really hope to get my ritual done tonight I did do some meditation and was planning my spell out although I missed the dark moon, so I fell off track I’m working on bringing some good luck!

Yeah it’s been like this for some time but I was able to start gaze the other night and connect with Mars and Venus and the next day I was able to ground myself and connect to earth and I saw two ducks 
swimming it was peaceful in nature . There is so much to be said I feel much better already Trying to stay centered

Challenge Entry: Witch Challenge- A Witch’s Divination @TheMuslimWitch
My challenge is difficult as i have may forms of divination i use including scrying with a black mirror and crystal ball, however the most common forms are tarot and runes. I am in love with my lapis lazuli runes as they are simple and give me direct answers, however when i am looking for a much deeper explanation, i choose tarot.
I also have dice (as you can see in the rune pic) which i cant remember right this moment what they are called and i still havent figured out how to use them as i dont have a sheet on where i can interpret the symbols or how they work, and also have a pendulum and board too.
Sometimes i just like using this coin too which has yes and no on it:
I dont know if oujia boards count but only used once because i was told not to play with something i dont have information about in case i call upon something or someone not wanted:

I read this book long ago.
It seemed too good to be true, but I acted on it and it actually worked for me. The hardest part is the fear of not knowing.
May I remind you, I am only suggesting you research and follow your own heart. My experiences may not be repeatable in today’s economy. Make your own choices from a place of wisdom and what you are willing to go through. It wasn’t easy getting to the point of telling myself it had worked.

Challenge Entry
Another thing people can do is to take a favorite book or movie and make one’s own oracle deck from it.

Take the personalities of the characters- both main and lesser characters will work as long as the characters are recognizeable- even if only to yourself for now.

Places have meaning too. Include them.

Include pets, plants, props, etc. as interacted with.

Add in the main theme of the book or movie.
-
Include emotions, lessons learned, and turning points.
Choose a medium. I put mine on doll house shingles. Tried making cards repeatedly. Others may use tiles, stones, beads, bits of foam, pieces of ribbon, dry beans, popsicle sticks, noodles, whatever is available.
Mix them up and try it out with a single draw or favorite spread. I was surprised at how well it worked, but it has continued working for me for the last 30 years! I did have to replace a few shingles so well worn that they broke or the words rubbed off, but since you made them, you can easily replace them at any point.
Any blessings on a new set or deck are optional.
I also did a set of found objects, once. If I found something at home or on the street which had meaning to me, I cleaned it and added it to a bag. Thus, a toy car’s steering wheel offered direction or control. A lost doll shoe meant freedom to roam. I used a blown fuse to “fuse” two or more ideas together and a mini holiday replacement light to light my way. A warning about this method, though: I found way more items of meaning than I could fit in the bag and had to give it up.

OK, so now that I am looking at the card, I pull all of the symbolisms out. I see a mountain. I see a man in the cave and he is focusing on his inner work. He is also in the dark cave doing inner work. The mountain is a reflection of himself.
Should I go on a pilgrimage? Asking the pendulum?
The pendulum replies to “yes”
Should I go to Folsom Lake State Recreation Area Hills ? While not major mountains, the rolling hills around Folsom Lake are a quick drive away.

Enjoy your time at Folsom Lake! I fondly remember spring and fall visits to local lakes in my youth. We’d sit outdoors and read a book just to listen to the waves or watch the boats. It was very grounding and peaceful.

Challenge Entry
I still consider myself new to all things divination, but since the beginning (and even when I was practicing Christianity and stayed away because it was “evil”) I’ve always been drawn to tarot cards.
So the first thing I did in my new spiritual journey was buy a tarot deck and begin to learn. I’m still learning but I’m always working with them now. I may have went crazy and bought a few more decks, too lol. But the main one I’ve been using is one that teaches.
As some of you had read here, I used a spread to find my deity, Freyja! And since then, I’ve been learning the Elder Futhark Runes since Freyja really likes runes (and divination in general).
I also recently got a pendulum to try, it’s been a process, but I’m starting to feel the energies from it.
I really enjoy divination and am working on opening up my intuition more!

Witch Challenge - A Witch’s Divination Entry
Divination Cards: When I first started decades ago, I had one Rider-Waite deck and loved it. Carried it with me everywhere. Now, after adding considerably to my number of decks, that rather than go for repetition based on appeal (Colors, characters, theme, etc.) I prefer to choose decks that confer something my main deck, The Rider-Waite, doesn’t explicitly. So, I have angel, demon, animal oracle, Egyptian, Lenormand, etc.
This is a picture of a deck I made a couple of years ago. Not fancy at all, but HIGHLY accurate! I recommend anyone wondering whether they should make their own to do so. IT’s time consuming, but absolutely worth it!
Candle Magick - Another favorite of mine. I perform these routinely. Below is an image of a recent ritual. I have interpreted that to be a Anja or Third Eye blockage or protection as that looks EXACTLY like a brain with the medulla & oblongata intact.
What are your impressions? Your responses are much appreciated!
Runes - I classify Runes separately from my divination cards simply because of their background as letters and, for me only, the more generalized message of the runes. I will often use these as a one-of question such as, “What is the nature of the ____”, or “What is my best course of action regarding ___”.
Divination Board - I refuse to call it a true Ouija Board because I made it myself to be a mix between a Ouija and a pendulum board. It’s rudimentary, but FANTASTIC. I have often found that the items that one makes oneself are EXTREMELY powerful because our own psyche goes into its construction. This is the main reason that I will carry new, commercially purchased divination items on my person (like in my bra or around my neck, in a pocket, etc) and then place them under my pillow, for day and night time coverage so to speak, when I first get them.
There are a few other things I will use on occasion, but that list would be wayyyy too long! 
Anything can be used for divination purposes. Even opening the page of a general book can provide certain answers if one’s intention is set properly.

I see a long necked wading bird. Most of these types of birds include patience in their lists of virtues because they move slowly and seem to wait for their food to come to them.
Many also include balance. Have you ever seen their giant paisley shaped bodies atop the thin sticks we call legs? And we think the deities didn’t have a sense of humor!
