You poor soul! Let me guess, you’re not a water witch. The balance meditations may be something you need… or learning to hold the boundaries of your magic a little closer to you so you don’t affect weather patterns. Careful, though: smaller spaces could intensify the energy around you.
Time is getting short. I’m going to have to get shallow to fit this in so I don’t miss the deadline.
Challenge Entry
I’m running my water distiller tonight so I have enough water to make Kool Aid tomorrow. A distiller boils water, leaving impurities behind, collects the steam, and cools it so it reforms into pure water, like Mother Nature creating rain.
I’ve had water distillers ever since I was 11 years old. Some have suggested that using distilled water helps keep a person from getting arthritis, saying that the buildup on the bones is from the impurities in the water we drink. The jury is still out on this one.
Mostly, I use it because the water tastes better. I’ve had an Oriental lady call the distilled water “sweet.” Anything is better than the sulphur water I’m allergic to at Grandma’s or the chemical spills I’ve heard about all my life in different locales- mercury from the Cassad in Indiana, chlorine in spring, fluoride additives in my youth, and jet fuel here.
Once I have my purified water, I ask the elements to bless the water. Then I put it in the fridge to chill before I drink it.
@Artemisia… I have a golden pothos & a white knight philodendron in little mason jars on a window sill So now I make the soil mix for my indoor plants. But those two plants are in love with life chilling on the window sill in a jar of water. They definitely too to the hydroponics instead of soil in a pot. My monstera… is happily in a window sill doing it’s thing but doesn’t like a lot of soil. Most of my plants I don’t water until they are dry & then I bottom water them. It takes a little more time, but I have a tote & a couple of bigger food storage containers that I put them in for it. Or I fill my shower with water on the bottom & put them in there.
Drawing on the idea of cups ( water) linking to emotions and reflection i decided yes another card self reflection😆. But since I did one entry for the moon, day and the coming sabbat ostara I thought id include these below. Spreads found on pictures but ive started a digital diary and screenshot or took photos plus added meaning, reflection ect. So I got the moon esbat and sun sabbat self reflections and then also the day which being Friday was connecting to Freya and self care etc. I liked how the day one talked about connecting to others and today was day connecting to my pagan and witchy friends on here.
Well done to everyone who has bottled up some watery power to store for later! I hope your magickal waters serve you well
