Same. It was pretty at the beginning; now it can move on. If I have to read “How are the roads near XYZ?” one more time, I think I’ll deactivate my social media. I wish I was making this up but one person actually asked, “I know it snowed last night but is it on the roads?”
Oh, I may have to do something similar. I’m ready for it to go and have some sunny, warmer days.
Well it’s going to Mother Earth she will renew me and soak it up!
I’m glad
you listened to her I’m going to listen to some of her music right know
There’s the lyrics for Nessi Gomes it’s phenomenal!
The lyrics are from Spotify and I love the part where she says the wind
goes blows through my head it blow ls me away! It reminds me of all the bleeping wheels in my head!! Lol ![]()
Into the Earth
this song goes so well with my spell and it’s validation that’s a synchronicity. I just love it and I’m gonna play it and play it and play it.
It went with my spell so well all the emotional pain in my head but into the earth in the pathos pot it went!
Almost forgot there’s the link it’s a good song of release!

Jeannie
@Jeannie1 sorry, love, I´m late!
I loved your spell and how you planned out one step after the other. I, too, feel there is power in layering different types of magic for one specific intention: the music, the bay leaves, the water…everything aligns and brings more power to your spellwork! Beautiful!! ![]()
Yes, these are fundamental human themes for every person that is on the path of spirituality.
It´s a difficult but beautiful jouney and so rewarding.
I tried opening that link but it didn´t work?
As long as there are no harmful ingredients in it, I will also give it back to nature, pour it out on the ground, sometimes near one of my favorite trees, if it is willing to transform the water or directly into the Great Mother Danu in her appearance as River Danube.
I love your prayer!
I hope it will help!!
I really don´t think of myself as a weather witch, but two days ago I was so sick of the heavy clouds over Vienna, that I made a drawing of the general outline of Vienna and the area around it, laid it out on my altar and used my feather fan (which I will usually wave the incense smoke around) and just imagined how I would chase away the clouds. Two days later the clouds are a lot thinner and I´m hoping they will dissappear, soon.
So, you never know until you try, right? ![]()
Have a magical, blessed day!

@Ostara Thank you! I have learned that very simple altars suit me best! I did enjoy the snow (I always do!) It snowed A LOT for us - more than we normally get (ok, it was like 3 inches, but…) I watched it snow all day, took some walks, drank lots of warm goodness… it was lovely!
Forgive my initial thought?
This is fun. Thank you.
Seriously?!? Did she think the clouds created a map of themselves so the snow wouldn’t fall in certain areas?
It works. I have been known to ask Gwynn app Nudd to allow me to travel from the laundry door to the apartment, dry. He could do whatever he wanted, otherwise; I just wanted to get my clean clothes home safely. He obliged.
That was my thought! Or at least it’s around 40! It was 2 this morning and is 13 now! Too friggen cold!
Thanks, love! Glad you liked it! I know I’ll celebrate when I see that first Robin!
Thanks! I hope it does too!
Hey, great use of sympathetic magic! Good idea!
Thanks! I wasn’t up for anything serious this week.
I love your funny little prayer @Amethyst ! Very clever!
Katharina,
Here is the chart and I just got the book but I’m sure you could look it up. I’ll look it up for you. Here’s the link for the book too, but the interesting thing is that there’s this website that I just found and this guy can actually look at your shoulder and say OK you have trapped emotions in your body, which I know I do. I have trapped emotions in my body and the only thing is I need somebody to work with that can help me so the only way that I was able to do, this was through the pendulum.
Trapped Emotions using the muscle way
Trapped Emotion Test
I could only imagine I’ve never been to Danu River but when I was younger, I lived right next to a river. It was called rainbow Bridge and everybody used to jump off and it was interesting because I knew the bridge and not too many of my friends knew the bridge but when I took them there, I was able to go oh yeah that’s not scary because I’ve been here before and I was very familiar with the lakes and the rivers and that was pretty much what I did. My whole life was go down to the river or go to a lake and I had a lot of fun with family because there were times where you know we would just spend the money to get into the park and get some chips in and just have a good time. Those were the good days nowadays I don’t even get there too often but me and my husband do go every once in a great while.
Jeannie
@AnethystI like how she changes and puts new skin!
Jeannie
It sure won’t hurt! It’s fun and very strong - fingers crossed for you!

What lovely things everyone is coming up with. ![]()
Thank you!
Thanks! The Cailleach is supposed to be a blue-faced hag. So that made sense to me. Glad you like!
Thank you! It didn’t snow nearly as much as it was supposed to today, so I think I’m off to a good start.
I´ve watched the video…this is the Kinesiology Muscle Testing! It´s a holistic healing method that is around since the 70ies or 80ies or so. Of course it´s not “scientifically” proven to work, but many people have had great experience and health improvement with this.
Yes, there´s something spiritual and healing just being next to a large body of water.
Such fun to see what all the coolest witches and chillest practitioners are up to! Thank you to everyone who has shared their frigid spellwork and wisdom so far

CHALLENGE ENTRY
I live in hot sunny Queensland in Australia where we never see snow. Maybe some ice and frosts but no snow. So, this was hard for me. I have decided to look into the magical properties of water.
- Dew Water - love magic or an offering to the Faery world.
- Glacier Water - clarity and connection to the ancients
- Hurricane Water - for change, justice and protection.
- Lake Water - calm, peace and joy
- Ocean Water - depending upon which ocean and will take on the local energy of the site.
- Pond Water - creating opportunities, self-discovery and relaxation.
- Rain Water - depending upon the time of year. eg. May is best used for Beltane etc.
- Snow Water - purity and change or the Yule season.
- Spring Water - influenced by the surrounding spirit of the place it is taken from.
- Storm Water - used to strengthen spells and workings.
- Swamp Water - binding, banishing, hexes, curses and magic involving revenge as it is often mixed with algae, silt, and mud.
- Urban Water - influenced again by its environment.
- Waterfall Water - rejuvenating and newness
- Well Water - granting wishes, healing and connection to other worlds.
Always leave some type of offering when gathering water from different sources. “Magic operates on a system of exchange and you must give something in order to achieve something”. Offerings can be coins, spirits, food, flowers, etc.

SPELL - Snow Queen Beauty Water
- Gather handfuls of fresh, clean snow from the first snowfall of the season or break off the first icicle you see.
- place it in a glass bowl and let it melt.
- add holly leaves and let this water sit overnight exposed to moon light.
- wash your face with the water for enhanced youth and beauty.
So Mote it Be!

Yes I’ve tried this muscle testing and it is something I think I’ll try more! I just got my snow water yesterday! I’ll have to go back into the challenge and see what I could do with it! I’m sure I’ll find something I could use!
And the body of water too by the way, I just got my RV finally registered yay
