And @Susurrus- go for it, girl! Practicing at home is a great way to find your comfort zone with belly dancing. But the best part for me was finding the supportive community- taking classes with a teacher is a wonderful way to meet new people and build confidence!
Just like with the helpful yoga videos on YouTube, there are plenty of belly dance videos to help you learn the basics for free as well.

I love Yoga with Adriene! I completed her latest 30 day challenge. Some of the poses were hard for me even though they were modifications. I just don’t have wrist strength to hold myself in anyway just yet. But working on it!

That’s Awesome I’ll try it today I have been feeling a little in motivated. So yesterday I wrote in my journal and I decided to do yoga three times a day only for 10 minutes. This will help me stay on top of thing’s! I can try this video I will let you know how it goes. Something new is good

I had a 6:30 AM class this morning (via zoom I swear that’s the only reason I’ve been so successful is I don’t actually have to leave my house) and I am so stiff. We typically do an hour~sometimes only 45 minutes. I have another class at 9 AM today as well. But we do have Thursdays and Sunday’s off although I do a video prepared for me specially since I’m tight in my hamstrings and groin (TMI)
Anyways I’m feeling great and I hope everyone else as well!

I am glad that you are making an Initiative to bring your practice to your home. I feel a sense of peace when I carve out time for myself. I am also trying to do the positive thinking ritual Francisco did for us too! I feel so blessed!
