Brigid Flametender

Oh! I have a lilac bush growing in my greenhouse. When I was growing up we had tall ones that went up the side of our house & I absolutely loved them. I love the smell & the look of them. Enjoy!

~headdesk~ I was going to compliment you and your nice big altar and how pretty it was, how you had six candles going at once, and then I realized it was in front of a mirror.

I’ll get to it, maybe sometime this week. The spell suggested to observe the flame for certain “tells,” and I was expecting a brief flareup but it just got more intense, a bonfire in a container. The shape changed completely about 1/2 way thru, the actual wick wasn’t even visible until there was no longer a hump of wax left from the taper candle. Then it continued to burn for a long time on the top of the wax lake, and when I picked it up about an hour later little flames started flickering within, like a lava flow.
Last year I did a drawing of ancestors w a similar spell and that nite the huge windstorm hit, which touched off my area of the West Coast burn. Am I a fire witch? Never thought about it till this spell. Is anybody else a fire witch? Is there such a thing?

I think it is absolutely possible to call yourself a fire witch, Sara! :fire:

While many consider three main categories of witches (How Many Types of Witches are There? has a lot more great info about this), it really is all up to the individual witch if they want to choose a name/type for themselves!

There was a thread a while back talking about the 100 Types of Witches Video (although the video has since been taken down from YouTube). There seems to be as many types of witches as number of witches out there- that is to say, many!

If that name calls to you, then by all means practice proudly as a Fire Witch :candle::fire::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you to @Amethyst and @Susurrus for keeping the flame burning brightly! :candle:

Woohoo @Amethyst! Good for you for practicing with your new phone :+1: I know it takes a while to get the hang of it- especially the focus! My pictures tend to be on the blurry side too, as I usually rush and don’t hold the camera still for long enough to get a clear snap  Keep practicing- you’re already on a roll! :raised_hands:

Nice find, @Rowan! Thrift stores are amazing  Loving the red candle in the red holder- it’s lovely! :candle:

Very cool find @Rowan! You’re very lucky!

I’m half-afraid it’s my hands shaking that makes it blurry. We’ll see how I do to make it better. I’ll keep trying!

Thanks for keeping the flame @Susurrus!
