No matter how much work you put in to trying to control your emotions, remember it does not dismiss the fact that you actually feel them. Being a sensitive soul, you are highly tuned into the feelings of those around you. This can be overwhelming and you are often unable to differentiate between your feelings and that of others. But nevertheless, you feel deeply and intensely and try to suppress your emotions, making it hard to show the world the real you.

You need to get something off your chest. Bottling up your emotions is not the answer. Talk to someone you can trust and open up to in regards to what it is you keep caged in. Tbh these pictures don’t even begin to do them justice, they’re both very healing and empowering. I will say the Goddess deck is definitely not for the faint of heart. Just have to be willing to hear and face all the dark suppressed stuff that we’ve all become masters at avoiding.

I know it’s hard not to, but comparing ourselves to others can be a black hole. Especially in something like sales where a huge part of whether a sale goes through or not is in the hands of the buyer and their personal situation- it’s out of the hands of the salesperson, so it’s not fair to measure one against the other.

Keep your head up and be open to new opportunities- may the road ahead be full of happiness and good luck for you!

@john.knox I agree with @BryWisteria about comparing yourself & your production to others in that type of situation. The ultimate decision is in the hands of the buyer. However, maybe review what you are doing & see if maybe there is another avenue to try instead of staying in the same cycle. Try a new approach for a few days or listen to the situation & offering the best option for it. Sometimes trying to be in sales can have many approaches.

I would review your current work & see if there are any changes you could easily make in wording, listening & responding, to be able to show the value to the customer of their purchase. While they may want your opinion, they also want to buy something that they can see or has some kind of value to them & their situation. If it’s a cycle, the only way to stop it, is to change something even if it’s a small thing at first. Don’t change multiple things all at once. Give each thing a few tries or days to see if any results change at all.

Journal about your progress & the changes & current ways you’re approaching the sale. Then record any changes or result over a couple of days, then try to add 1 more thing in that is a different approach based on what starts working for you & your clients.

Make sure fiery bursts of productivity are accompanied by laughter & gratitude… connection, appreciation, & love. It’s okay to hold shadow in all of this light. Don’t push it down so deeply that you can’t feel it again. Accept the parts of you that you don’t’ openly share. The past failures that have held you back? They don’t define you, so transmute that shadow. Sit with it briefly & then light it on fire, because you don’t need it anymore.

I felt called to do a general pull for everyone today. I asked for Brigid’s guidance as I drew for my Celtic Tree Oracle and pulled Tinne - Holly. (Just as a note, I read these cards as Ogham instead of with the booklet the cards come with.)

Keyword: Mastery

Though we do not often turn to smiths today, Tinne can be interpreted as a fid of technology, both mundane and magical, and therefore those who work with the bright marrow of the computer or other high technology items are also associated with this fid. Those who are highly skilled at working magic also fall under its purview.

In its most general sense, Tinne deals with issues of creativity, work, and material prosperity. It shows us where our talents lie. The work of the smith has also been in creating weapons, and so this fid is also linked with weaponry, war, and strife, as well as with practitioners of the martial arts. It can indicate the military or law enforcement as well.

This fíd asks us to remember what makes us creative. It also asks us to evaluate how we feel in regard to work, prosperity, and the things we create. I’m having a difficult time putting the meaning together in words right now because this fíd is a direct connection to metal and smithcraft, both things that Brigid holds domain over. I feel like maybe this reading isn’t actually for everyone else but for me instead…

I’m still learning Ogham & Celtic Trees & such… so reading like that is a no-go for me, but it is something I would like to be able to do one day. I think I will work on my Ogham studies today!

I feel a connection to this reading though as well, it’s kind of what has been milling around my brain since last evening.
