Wowza! That’s some happy lemon grass right there - it looks great! :grinning:

Thanks, Bry. Hubby had bought 2 pots, and each had one sprig of grass. It was sad looking. But they are happy now!

Sounds like you and your husband rescued them when you gave them a new home! May your lemon grass continue to be happy and thrive :green_heart:

I went outside and noticed my herbs are looking droopy. I pulled the water hose out so I can water them when it gets cooler tonight, then I realized that this is the first time I have had to water them this year. That’s unheard of in the Texas summer. Usually in August the grass is crunchy even if you water it daily. Last year it was crunchy in June! :sunglasses:

I know it’s been a little bit and I haven’t been able to share many of the plants that have come and gone…

My friend’s hibiscus plants started blooming a little over a week ago. Our’s had not though, but this year there are a lot of buds! We did have to remove the rhododendron and have an oak tree pruned, which gave the hibiscus much more sun :sun: throughout the day. When my daughter and I went out there we saw the first bloom from the 3 plants :hugs:

One other plant had a bloom, but with the winds and rain, I’m not sure how they will do once it passes. If they bloom between today and tomorrow, I will share one of the others. We have 3 different color patterns of each hibiscus :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m feeling a little green witchy today. Rosemary, Rue, Basil, and Wormwood ready to rinse and dry!

What a lovely harvest!!! Always satisfying and very rewarding to bring in a harvest of herbs that you grew yourself! :herb:

Thanks Mystique. I’m going to have an over abundance of Rosemary. I have 3 huge bushes. The wormwood I transplanted in the field was run over with the lawnmower (hubby), but the one in the flower bed is going insane.

My herbs did not grow outside at all. My indoor ones are growing, but I have no idea what is what!:rofl::rofl:

Wow, what a blessing! You have so many lovely herbs this year and they all look healthy and well. Have fun processing them - you’ll be able to enjoy them all winter long! :herb: :green_heart:

The Texas weather is what did it. Last year we were a dust bowl. This year we had a lot of rain. I am about to go out and water for only the 2nd time this year. :sunglasses:

Hello Lovely,
I cannot see your picture… could you upload it again? Please :hugs: I would love to see it. Grasshoppers have devoured my yard this year!

With love,
Marsha

Oh no! Sorry they’ve got some of your other plants. I also can’t see the picture (would you give it another try? It might not have uploaded fully before posting!), but I’m glad that some of your plants are staying safe! Hope they can continue to thrive  :green_heart:

Blessed be!

Looks yummy! My garden didn’t do so well. Going to try something different next year. Our soil has too much clay in it for growing plants.

Yeah I get it. Indiana soil is pretty clay like too. Even has like silver streaks so weird. I us mostly manure it’s cheap at Menards and some top soil. But prefer the manure for sure. Imma have to take a pic of it all. The main tomato plant is humongous. I haven’t really been taking care of anything been too busy
