Aww, thank you, dear heart!
Thanks, love. Iām trying to be good to myself. I just need to wake up to do it! LOL!
Thank you so much, @starborn! That means a lot to me!

@Amethyst Do what you need and know that we are here for you.
@Satans_Helper @MeganB @starborn @tracyS I know you all requested an update of my local groupās celebration of Imbolc so here it is! I also posted in the Imbolg Coven Celebrations but I figured Iād update here too:
My group had an Imbolc ritual at my church (yes my church, we are a uu church that has a pagan group in it). We celebrate the sabbats as a group and up until Yule, we had a core group of maybe five of us. Then Yule came around and we had 80 at the ritual! Now Imbolc and we had about 25 so itās some great turnout! We made Brigid crosses, we listened to poetry and Irish jig music about Brigid and learned about Imbolc. Then we lit candles and did a guided meditation in the church. The cool thing about the guided meditation was that everyone was invited to lie down in the pews and the lights were turned off in the church so that it was only candlelight and the guided meditation was all about going to meet Brigid by a flowing stream and waterfall and it was so lovely and actually amazingly realistic. I found myself tearing up during parts of it. And then we went outside and ate snacks and had a bonfire. It was kinda great. Our minister was there as a participant.
Iām still reeling from the experience of being together in community in real life. I know Iām so blessed to have this community in my backyard. Iām trying to think of ways that I can help formalize our small but growing community of pagans into maybe a CUUPs group. If any of you have experience either attending a CUUPs group or starting one please let me know.
@BlueAngelite That sounds absolutely divine. What a nice community you have.
@BlueAngelite that sounds great!
it is so beautiful to unite people who have something in common!
you are a blessed community!
@Amethyst Iām sorry youāre going through this. Iām here for you
@BlueAngelite Iām so happy for you! We donāt have anything like that here. I go to my local metaphysical store. We meet once a month for a full moon mingle. Which is great. She sometimes has classes and other activities. Thereās another one nearby. They have lots of events, but they all cost moneyā¦ughā¦some of them are quite expensive!
Thatās amazing and wonderful that you have that place of gathering of like-minded people so close to home, @BlueAngelite! Thatās very special
That sounds so amazing, @BlueAngelite Iām glad there was a lot of interest in the event and a lot of people are coming out! Snacks and a bonfire outside sound perfect
for Imbolc.
I caught a beautiful sunrise this morning. So, as is now tradition, the saga of Katerina 's balcony sky view continues.
great spectacle! like a dream!
@starborn very lovely
Beautiful @starborn! Thank you for sharing your sunrise.
It is absolutely gorgeous! The sun is rising more here in the North so Iām hoping to join this tradition of sunrise photos
soon!
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing
Thank you, dear heart. Iām trying to stay up to date here but itās difficult to pay attention some days.
Congrats on your ritual, by the way. It sounds lovely!
Thank you, @Sivonnah! I appreciate that!
@Amethyst⦠I know how hard that is & I wish it was something that could just be taken away. Itās a tough place to be, but please be gentle & take the time you need. I would definitely bring it up to your provider, if it gets too heavy then please reach out sooner. We are always here for you & you are amazing & beautiful. So try not to be too hard on yourself.
@starborn, that is an amazing picture! I havenāt been able to take any pictures of a sunrise or sunset in a very long time. Or that liminal time when the night is transitioning to day when the sun & the moon are both visible as the one is just starting to rise as the other is descending.
@BlueAngelite that sounds amazing! I donāt have anything like that around here, but I do have a friend nearby that we can have amazing conversations surrounding these things. I donāt believe we have anything like this in my area
Thank you, dear heart! I am going to the shrink next Monday. Weāll see how it goes. Itāll take time to get my meds worked out but at least it will be something, you know? Thanks for the support!
@Susurrus and others, in person Pagan and witch -led groups are growing in interest these past several years it seems! I wouldnāt be surprised if there is a group in your area. One place to look is to see if there is a CUUPs group: Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans - Chapter Locations
Just one option to look for groups as Iām sure there are many others.
There is one about 30 minutes from me. A little far for me to travel but they have some online stuff Iāll have to check out! Thanks for the link!
No problem - happy to help!
That is amazing, i love this! I miss the UU church I was a part of in NH, when i was a teen. The freaks, artists and wierdos hung out at the youth groups. It saved my life.
