I am a kitchen witch and am 3rd generation taught. I have always steered clear of spells and recipes that have lavender in them since I am allergic to it and lilacs , but I was wondering if there was another Herb out there that could be used in its place that has the same powerful effect as lavender dose in many sells. My Grandmother Died in 2010 and I did not learn this part from her before hand. Any help would be grateful. Thanks and Bless it Be!

there are loads of great suggestions: Rosemary, Marjoram, Chamomile, Lemon Balm to name a few - depending on what kind of spell work you needed the lavender for.
For Lilacs Iād go the same way searching for subs - Jasmine looks like a good one!

I was just going to say that Rosemary can be substituted for most things. Jasmine would be a good substitute depending on the intentions.
