Hi there @beedazzeled, I’m Susurrus, one of the moderators here at Spells8. It’s nice to meet you, I’m coming back from leave. So it’s nice to meet the newer members each time I am in lately

We do have a guide regarding :mending_heart: Talking about Trauma. We can be supportive but there are guidelines in place as well as, making sure that you are mindful of your own reactions and responses. We do try to put a note or blur sections so users can choose whether to continue reading the post.

We have quite a few members who are not only close to each other but also have outside support systems in place. Depending on the area, we can assist with being a sounding board or recommending services. However, we do have limits, and someone, if not the entire moderator team, will check in privately with the original poster regarding the post.

I hope you can peek through the different topics, there is so much that has been covered in the forum and on the leading site. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or reach out to the moderator team

Feel free to jump in on any topic or start your own. It’s nice to meet you

Welcome @beedazzeled Yes trauma of any kind is difficult. We all have our own ways of dealing with it, and it always helps to get ideas and advice from our wonderful friends in here.

Welcome, @beedazzeled! Everything you say about trauma and seeking help is spot on. I hope your situation is better.

Your breath works workshop sounds wonderful. In yoga, we call this pranayama, the simple act of breathing techniques that can help us focus, relax, meditate, and move in and out of asanas. I agree it’s such a help - and anyone who breathes can do it!

We’re happy you’re here. As @Susurrus says, take a look around and don’t be too shy to ask questions!

Blessed be. :raising_hands: :feather:

I agree that trauma needs counseling and careful help. Tell us a bit about your breath works that you did! We’d love to know more about you!

Hi, I’m Dan and I loved @Susurrus 's post. Like many, I have had trauma and it is important to not hold it in… yet is is hard to share.

Welcome… and know that the coven is a very welcoming space and can help. There is a host of things to do and learn. That alone helps a lot.

Hey girl, welcome to the Coven! I just joined a few days ago myself.

I actually have been through a lot of trauma! That is one of the reasons why I became a Spiritual Healer! I healed myself from horrible traumas and I want to help others do the same! However, sometimes people aren’t quite ready to let go of trauma(s) quite yet in my experience. If someone doesn’t want to get help, you can’t make them.
