I hope nobody minds if I add some of these wonderful entries to my grimoire? Theyāre quite informative
Your artwork is beautiful! I especially love the way your drew Nyx.
It is cool, right?! My friends found this out the hard way when they asked me to make them tea to help them sleep. Oh boy, did they sleep well that night.
They were like, āWhat did you do?ā Ah, the power of chamomile, lavender, andā¦ I think I added one more. I canāt remember.
Ancestor work entry
Fired up my ancestor altar and burnt some ancestor bills of money for them. Miss them loads. Forever in my heart you will remain where you belong in a spot more than earned. Iāll definitely be pulling me ouija board back out soon. Been too long since Iām talked with them and I miss them dearly.
Rest in peace my dearly departed

Challenge Entry #8
Beauty Magick
For this challenge, I made āGlamourā An Anti-Aging Potion. I followed this post by @ashley69:
But as I donāt always have every ingredient a recipe calls for, and there are sometimes some that I donāt want to use, so I made some tweaks. Well, by tweaks, I mean, I left out the horsetail and rose quartz, and that everything I did use was in oil form.
I put everything in a container, starting with the carrier oils as they would make up the bulk of it, and Iāve stored it all away for later use. What Iām thinking of doing when I do use it, is combining some with a bath with rose-infused water. (Basically, a tea made with rose petals and 90Ā°C water.)
For now, what Iām using as a new part of my beauty routine, is this succubus juice from @CelestiaMoon a couple of times a week.
Iām not much of a beauty routine kind of personāI see bothering to brush my hair as a big dealāso itās been difficult sticking to using anything for a long time. I think the most āsuccessā Iāve had in this regard has been using my crown oil (Crown Chakra Hair Oil) a few times a month for about a year. Anyway, Iām just trying to add that I might not be the best to report on results, but if anything miraculous happens, Iāll let you all know.
Challenge Entry- Enchanting Herbs
TW Fire Injury, poison ivy
I was 4 years old. We were traveling across the Desert Southwest, Mom and me. We had just finished our lunch, and I asked to go visit the trailer of an elderly couple down the drive. Mom was reluctant; but let me go by myself, if I promised not to stop anywhere along the way.
In between our trailer and the elderly coupleās was a trailer surrounded by a fence. Within, several children were playing. They saw me and begged me to come in and play with them. I looked at the elderly coupleās trailer and heard a whisper assuring me it would be all right.
Meanwhile, the elderly woman was just starting to cook and the elderly man was messing with welding materials. His gas canister had a leak, blew up in his face, and caught the whole trailer on fire!
People were running and screaming. The kidsāmother took me by the hand and delivered me safely to my mother. Mom swore if Iād have been at the elderly coupleās, I would not have survived.
Mom used aloe vera on the womanās burns. People around could see the redness come right out of her skin. The man had third degree burns and wouldnāt let Mom touch him. He ended up in the hospital, but she was miraculously fine.
Two years later, Mom and I went to Hawaii. Mom was on a catamaran ride on which I wasnāt allowed to go along. She got a nasty sunburn. When the hotel manager asked her if there were anything he could do, Mom requested a native plant: Aloe Vera. He didnāt even know what it was! After slicing the leaves and laying them on her, he left. The next morning, Mom walked into the lobby to thank him. The swelling had gone down in such a short time that he didnāt even recognize her!
Ever since then, I have kept a supply of aloe gel on hand for medicinal purposes, and I honor the Magick of it.
One more miracle with aloe, if yāall donāt mind.
Mom was cutting down a vine which shaded our side door. She never saw that there was more than Virginia Creeper in the cutting. Her hands swelled with poison ivy rash. When she used the restroom, the oil from the rash got up inside her, making her miserable. She began drinking aloe juice. Soon after, she went to the doctor. He said the poison ivy was barely an inch from entering her stomach before she started drinking the aloe. The doctor said he could see where it was healing already. Mom was lucky, he said- if the poison ivy would have gotten into her stomach, she would have died.
Thank you for your patience with me.
I believe this is #13
Challenge Entry- Mountain Magic
I was here about 5months when I learned about Lady New Mexico- the Spirit of the Land. She tests everyone to see if they are strong enough to make it, here. Her protector is the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque.
The Sandias rise like a door opening on a hinge, so there is a gentle slope up the east side and rugged cliffs on the west. This configuration protects Albuquerque from wildfires and whatever hurricanes may come from Texas. The Sandias are considered the southern edge of the Rockies, Iāve heard.
Thanks to the cliffs facing ABQ, the winds do not spiral, making tornadoes a very rare occurrence. Instead, there is an odd wind pattern called āthe boxā by balloonists. Low level winds go one way, and upper level the opposite, so that a hot air balloonist can head out one direction, rise or lower, and return to land in nearly the same spot.
After a youth and much of my adulthood in Indiana, terrified of tornado sirens two seasons out of each year, I have a great appreciation for the protection the Sandias offer. That gratitude has expanded to include other forms of hospitality like shopping. Whenever I return from shopping in some form, I say a quick prayer of thanks to my protectors. If Iām too tired the moment I return home, I go outside the next day and offer my gratitude.
If it is raining on the mountains, we may get flash flood warnings without a hint of rain in the city. This gives rise to tales of La Llorona- the Ditch Witch. A mother lost her children to a flash flood, and seeks them still, crying for them, and sometimes capturing strangersā children thinking theyāre hers.
Spring winds can be intense. However, we are protected from so much that staying is worth the effort.
Challenge Entry #9
Of Candles and Flame
Can you believe that I havenāt already done a candle magick entry somewhere?? Me neither. So, here we go.
Iām using three red candles here while working with Lilith. The colour red is intentional, for itās associated with passion, love, energy, strength, courage, desire, blood, confidence, lust, and so on. The number three is also significant because it represents a trinity of deities/spirits/daemons.
I usually donāt read into candle flames, smoke, or similar. Personally, I feel like mundane scenarios can affect it too easily, and I donāt really want to bother wading through all that. But thatās just my personal preference.
Anyway, in this scenario, the candles play another role, which is to help me focus and get into a more meditative state. What I often do is focus on the flames so that it is easier to imagine them in my mind when it comes time to do so.
I really enjoy the cosy ambience that lit candles add to a space. They make the area feel calmer, more inviting, and more conducive to relaxation.
What I often do with my candles when using them is anoint them with an oil relevant to the situation or deity. I donāt always do this, partly because I donāt always have an oil ready and available, but I do it when I can. I feel that this helps connect the candle to the energies that I desire.
I also often dedicate candles to deities. I often burn a candle or two or three to Hekate, Lilith, Selene, Nyx, Lucifer, Belial, and Mammon. Iāve also burnt candles to Loki, the Morrigan, Clauneck, and others, too, but these are the ones that come to mind first.
Next on my to-do list when it comes to candles is to start making my own. I already have the waxes, moulds, dyes, oils, containers, and other things required to make them. I just need to do it, but I think it will be great when I do, because there always seems to be something special about the energy in handcrafted items.
Intrepreting Magickal signs catch-up challenge entry
I have recently been studying and learning about the Theoban Alphabet. Its creater is unknown which is probably the most magickal thing about it in my opinion. It was written as a cipher to the latin script. It is also known as The Witchās alphabet and Runes of Honorious.
Rock magick challenge catchup entry
My mother in law found all of these crystals in her yard in eastern NC. I just thought it was amazing this many were found naturally occuring right in her yard.
And this was the coolest one she has in my opinion.
A Witchās Intuition challenge catch up entry
I have always been a very intuitive person. When I was a child I thought everyone was like me, as iāve gotten older Iāve realized thats not the case. I rely on my intuition to make any decision in my life especially big or life changing ones.
Magickal corospondences challenge catch up entry
I have a few different lists of corospondences that I follow or go by,Processing: 17187038320777264997958927249042.jpgā¦
in my grimmoire.
Sorry my handwriting is borderline unreadable.
Handwritten magick challenge catch up entry
I write a lot, pretty much every day. Since I learn by writing I usually donāt have ro reread what Iāve written, I know it because I wrote it. If that makes sense. My daughter is interested in my practice so I have created a āgrimmoireā book of all my writings, (Mostly its things related to my beliefs and practice) that she can read and when she gets a little older decide which things she believes in or wants to follow, or not.(if she can decipher my handwriting)
And heres glumpse of the sections and subsections of my grimmoire.
I also have a book of spells I want to create and another book of shadows with spells I have created and their results.
Beautiful books, by the way. So organised!
