CHALLENGE - Divining Differently
I chose to work with a pendulum. Originally I couldnāt decide between pendulum or tarot. I have been thinking about tarot a lot lately and a couple of days before this challenge came up I was digging out my cards. But I decided to do pendulum.
My hesitation was (and probably still is) the fact that I misplaced both of my boards I had recieved in a monthly witch box, plus one of the 2 pendulums I have. I also had a little mat board that I used once and canāt find that and I know I put that in a place I would know where it was at. But being one to not heed the signs (lol), I went with the pendulum anyway.
Ultimately I did basic, intial work. Learning about the different ways to use a pendulum - which I actually learned a lot as I didnāt think of all the ways. For example, sometimes people use them to make decisions on everyday things - should I have oatmeal for breakfast.
I also charged my pendulum and started to carry it around and work with it - finding out what yes/no/maybe looks like (without a board).
I then realized that working with a pendulum and working with a pendulum board are 2 different things - or at least I realized that the boards yes/no are different then asking the pendulum for a yes/no - as in circle for yes, left right swing for no. More research to be done on this.
Iāve decided not to work with board for now (a paper one I quickly designed on canva) and just work with the pendulum by itself.

I like the idea of having a crystal with an intended purpose. Iāll have to look into this at some point.
Funny I was things last week how much I miss magazines for the same reasons - mostly the touch factor.

After I have cleansed them & such, I will pull one so you can get an idea of the cards setup. Iām really looking forward to using them.
I modified the Lithomancy a little to get used to drawing a stone or casting them based on their intended meanings.
After the class & before this challenge I had ordered that book about casting stones, crystals, & charms. Iām thinking of using my pouch of charms that I found to do something similar to An experiment with charm casting - Weekly Witchy Challenge Entryā¦ the possibilities just kind of fell in my lap once I finished the classes.
However, for right now Iām only going to work with the tumbles.

To kind of highlight a passage or section you can put > then type immediately afterward:
it will look like this
For bulleting you can do the * then a space & type or - & a space then type
- I used the asterisk
- I used the dash
2 pound signs & a space then type will make the text large
3 pound signs & a space then type & test is slightly smaller

3 pound signs
Iām trying to think of some more shortcuts or tricks easy to do

If you put an emoji on a line by itself it will be a bit larger than normal
Make sure there is a space between uploads, they wonāt upload right if you do 1 then another without hitting āEnterā between them.

That is really cool! I love looking at clouds, I will have to do it in a different way nowā¦
An off topic note: I find it interesting how many things are witchy related that a lot of people do and donāt even realize that its magic. So many kids are taught to look at the clouds - just as something to do and not as a practice.

Challenge entry - Diving Differently
While I did create my first scrying mirror, I havenāt had the opportunity (or if Iām being honestā¦ courage?) to use it.
I did give my newly Ogham staves a try. Or actually a few tries!
Turbo was intrigued when I was setting out the staves and stole one, which I got back. I ended up letting him pick 2 more!
The last three Donut supervised their drawing.
I enjoyed using this method of divination so much in fact, Iāve already started working on my own āproperā set of staves!

@Artemisia Iām really loving being able to be a part of this with youbwhile Iām learning Ogham. I try to work on 1 or 2 over a couple days. Then to my delight, my the Oracles of the Morrigan deck has Ogham on the backs of the cards! Im so excited to translate it once I start using them.

Weekly Witch Challenge - Divining Differently - Entry
I did a lot of research trying to get a better understanding of Divining Differently. I found a lot of interesting information, some of it I ruled out right away because it sounded like I would have to do an animal sacrifice. I love animals too much to ever harm them. On the same website, I found Bibliomancy (1) which is Divination Using Books. This one is interesting because I actually do this, not with a religious book but with other books, but I did not know what it was called. I also think this is why I have so many message decks (not Tarot or Oracle) but ones where you pick a card for a message.
Other divination methods I found are Graphology & Palmistry(2) I have explored both of these topics in the past. I also use Pendulum Divination & Numerology regularly. (3) I have a Life Path number of 11 but I will save that for another post. There is a very long list of Divination Methods on Wikipedia (4) which proves we have a very long history of trying to forecast the future.
And nowā¦ I have decided to discuss Biorhythms as my entry. When I was young, my mom did biorhythms which she calculated by hand, but nowadays there are apps for my phone which are much easier to use and more accurate. 
What are Biorhythms?
Most biorhythm models use three cycles: a 23-day physical cycle, a 28-day emotional cycle, and a 33-day intellectual cycle. (5)

This is an app I found on my phone. The developer has added a 4th cycle for Intuition, which I find interesting. Iām checking it each day because I want to see how accurate the Intuition cycle is. My mother swore by Biorhythms, she thought they were very accurate. On the other hand, biorhythms have been called pseudoscience. I guess itās a matter of opinion, what do you think?

Ahh missed it by 14 minutes lol oh well! I was making my own set of ogham cards with their own plant and tree pictures. I wasnāt finished with all of them but they refused to print! I look forward to reading through everyoneās entries
