One of my dearest friends is moving to another state shortly and I want to make a a witch ball for her to take with her to protect her new house and bring happiness.
Any suggestions on what to include?

I would suggest lavender, mugwort, rose Quartz, maybe a couple charms like a small heart and a horseshoe, rose petals, rosemary, St. John’s Wort, vervain, dill seed, course salt. Any combination of those or all of them would be wonderful for happiness and protection in the new home.

You’re very kind for thinking of your friend during her big move. There are already some great suggestions shared here by the coven - I can only think of two more to add to the pile!
This is a “Waterfall Ward” using the water element to protect the home:
And this a blend of salt and rosemary used to protect the home:
Either could be gifted on their own or applied to a Witch’s Ball, token, poppet, amulet, or other crafted item that you could gift to your friend.
