Congratulations to @Nikki-Phoenix and @Artemisia for being Super Stars! :star: You get virtual cookies today! YAY!

I’ve got a good week planned. I’m going to try to maybe rearrange a few things in my living room if me and Sally can manage it and decorate for Beltane! Well, that’s the idea. We’ll see if we actually stop gossiping and do it. LOL!

I only have to get through two doctor appointments today, one of which is a nerve conduction test, I think they call it. Basically they are testing to see if I have neuropathy or carpal tunnel in my hands. So they basically are gonna hook my hands up to some machine and shock me.

I’ve heard that it’s nothing more than hitting your funny bone to Sally’s brother saying that if the nurse had been a man he would have hit her, it’s so painful. So I guess that’ll be fun!

But after today I’m good to go for the week!

Hope y’all are having a good one this week too!

Well I guess that’s my sign that I need to get more vegetable plants for my garden today!! :seedling: :check_box_with_check:

I’ll have to see if Herbal Academy or other herbalist organizations have anything planned for this day  I know I have a few things on my To Make list. :herb:

Congratulations on the shout out and thank you for sharing so much of your wisdom with us! :pink_heart:

Thank you! I’ll take all the virtual cookies cuz I’m cutting back on the real ones!!! :cookie:

Hope your appointments go smoothly. I’ve had the nerve conduction test on my wrists before, it’s not too bad but not as fun as eating cookies!

Spring is here with all the pollen and more… Waiting for the big blooms to pass before tackling cleaning the screened porch. It used to be a huge deal because Donut was allergic to pollen (and a few other things) but he loved spending time in the porch. He’d come in looking like a honey bee with pollen all over his fur

We had the insurance claim approved for a roof replacement, so I’m meeting with my roofer in a few minutes to get that started.

Working on digging my way out of the winter blues and dealing with a loss. Joined a local bird watching group and signed up for a couple of field trips. Recommitting to getting outside and running 4 times a week. And finally, have my SO at least partially onboard with decluttering so we’re working on that a little at a time over the week.

Mostly I’m just happy that my garden is growing, seedlings are popping up and rose buds are starting to form! :rose:

Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful week!

Congratulations! Felicitations!

I’m excited, this morning. I’ve never been on a passenger train before, other than the touristy steam trips in Indiana and Canada. This ought to be just as much fun: heading up to Santa Fe- the state capitol, today. It is my driver’s birthday, so I’m praying everything flows smoothly. Our intentions are to eat and visit two museums: Laretto Chapel with its miraculous spiral staircase and the interactive art museum Meow Wolf- House of Eternal Returns. Weather is expected to be cloudy and mild- perfect for travel after the abnormally high temps of the past weekend. I’m not leaving much up to chance except transportation once we get there and where to eat. I even called the bank to make sure they don’t cancel my debit card and lined my purse with foil to keep rf readers out. My intentions are to have fun and be inspired.

Sorry for the runon paragraph. When I get like this, you can tell I’m excited!

@Amethyst May your doctors visits go smoothly and as comfortably as possible!

@Artemisia Good luck with the insurance and roof replacement! May your gardening and running go well! Bird watching ought to be enjoyable: birds can be very entertaining. Wishing Donut an easy allergy season this year!

Thanks to all! I’ve been in and out lately, all of my time is wrapped up in K at the moment. I barely have time to finish a reply before she’s trying to fly or eating something she shouldn’t be :see_no_evil_monkey::rofl:Wishing love, light and sparkles to all this week :sparkles:  :people_hugging:

Oh! That does sound exciting! I remember my first train ride. I went from Oklahoma City to San Antonio to see the missions at the Missions National Historical Park (and a lot more fun stuff :slightly_smiling_face:)

Welcome everyone! You are in a very special place! :blue_heart:
Congrats @Artemisia and @Nikki-Phoenix

Virtual chocolate cookies then! LOL!

They all lied! Either that or they are wusses! LOL! The most difficult part was getting my fat butt up on the exam table.

But I may have to have carpal tunnel syndrome, and may need surgery. I’ll find out more in two months. Sigh.

Thanks, love!

May your garden grow well, my dear! And good luck with decluttering.

Hope your journey was a safe and fun one!

Thanks, darling! They went okay. For what they were. Blah. LOL!

Looks like we’re off for a great week! The hubs and I had a great trip to Texas and made it back safely to Georgia late last night. We did some fossil hunting, I got some gorgeous gem stone jewelry AND the cast of an huge dinosaur footprint that I’m hanging up on a wall somewhere! It’s awesome! We also went to the Scarborough Rennaisance faire (you all know we love us some renn faire goodness) and I got some amazing new incense and a teeny oil lamp and bud vase!

Our family is gearing up for our Ostara/Easter celebration. They were kind of spread apart this year since Easter is late, but it works! We have a glow in the dark egg hunt for the kids and it is just magical. I’m also gearing up to try a new cake this year. I usually do a lamb cake because it always turns out horrible and looks like a zombie… but this year I am switching it up and trying a bunny! We will see how that goes!!

Happy week everyone!

Congratulations :confetti_ball: to both of you! Wonderful to see your contributions to the forum :hugs:

@Amethyst I had 1 on my right arm a couple of months ago. I hope your appointments go well & the nerve test isn’t too uncomfortable for you. It didn’t bother me too much, they went from my neck to my fingers on the right side.

I’ve been busy today, as I can be anyway. I was able to get my treasures with a first coat of mineral oil on them. Then later I started seeds for:

  • lavender
  • spearmint
  • rosemary
  • basil
  • onions
  • cantaloupe
  • sweet peppers

They are in their little greenhouses doing their thing in the kitchen. Tomorrow during the day I’ll make sure everyone is in a sunny spot

I have 2 appointments this week. My Wednesday morning appointment & another one on Friday, I just don’t remember what time

I feel like I have so much to say but not enough time right now.

I hope everyone had a good start to their week :revolving_hearts:

I have some more seeds to start, but need to get them their little homes & greenhouses. Now I get to clean outside planters, make hanging planters, & all the things for my little garden. We are pretty excited.

I was able to get my other plants watered & in a temporary home. Now I’m so tired, I may have over done it a tad :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yay! Well done you two!

Nikki, I love your posts. You bring joy with everything. Thank you!

Artemisia, sharing your love is much appreciated. Everyone likes to see a ā€˜like’. It makes us feel part of everything. Thank you!

Congratulations! You are both so amazing!

Hope your appointments went well! I’ve had this test done and thought it was horrible!

@Artemisia I’m glad your insurance approved the roof repairs! That’s always a big relief.

@georgia I hope your train ride was amazing and you had a great day!

@AileyGrey that sounds like an amazing trip! You got some great finds it sounds like!

My week will be filled with the 4 grandkids. I’m back to babysitting for a couple months and then them and their mom are off for the summer.

That’s right! I had forgotten. The test wasn’t so bad. Getting on the exam table? Yeah, a nightmare. Why I couldn’t do that seated I have no idea.

May Gaia make your seeds grow!

It wasn’t too bad for me, like an electric sewing machine needle going into me. (I’ve had a needle go clear through my finger so I’d know) But I survived but found out I have carpal tunnel in both hands but really bad in my left. So that may end up with surgery sometime this summer if the braces don’t help. We’ll see.

I hope your test came out well when you did it!

Aww you are most welcome @dan3, and thank you and everyone, and of course congrats to @Artemisia :people_hugging::heart:

It’s okay, I forgot I had mentioned it. I hope the braces help. I know when I did data entry I had 1 for my… left hand & it wasnt bad once I got used to it.

So far today I’ve gotten my makeshift greenhouses in the window, got the stuffs ready for mineral oil ( it takes a couple applications because of being porous)

Oh! My hubs came home with a cool rock he found out by the pit at work. Everything I’ve checked leans toward it being some kind of piece of meteorite. Possibly dacite, but I really doubt that here since it has to do with volcanic lava cooling rapidly. Unless there’s 1 around Cape Cod I don’t know about yet.

I have a few things to do, but I will be in & out throughout the day! Happy Tuesday!

Congratulations lovely witches your contributions make this forum wonderful.

@Amethyst I hope you appointments went well and sending you love, hugs and healing.

@Artemisia I hope that the roof goes well! What did you end up planting?

@Susurrus may you seeds grow large and quickly!

@mystique have an amazing time with your grandkids

I didn’t realize it was world gardening day yesterday but I have been growing some seedlings since March and i though it was time to out them into my community garden.
It is supposed to be nice here all week!

I finished my sounds bath training so I have certification to do crystal bowl sound healing now! I just need to practice and I will start offering them.

I need to move the last of my stuff out of my ex’s place this weekend. I am having some dread. Please send me good vibes and protection. It is really hard…

You’ll make it, @celineelise! I believe in you! Life will be so much better, now! Familiarity itself is a tie which binds, but freedom and independence will serve you well. The hardest part is often getting your foot in the door. Cheers to your courage and strength!

The train ride fell through. When we got there, the conductor told us that train wasn’t headed north. So we drove. The truck needed more work than was safe, but ā€œBetsyā€ made it with flying colors. Good thing, too. We were allowed to take extra time at the museum- needed as my driver fell and twisted her knee, ate something which disagreed with her. She had a rough birthday.

I’ve been making things and decided to do something fun for our Doggo (Cooper). He is getting old so I made a poppet of him and sent him health and comfort. Here is the poppet - 3D printed and I made a compartment for herbs and a taglock.

Here is Cooper when he was a bit younger:

Herbs (infusion) and Taglock (Contagion)
• Olive oil
• Mugwort
• Sage
• Cinnamon
• Sea salt
• Hair of the dog

I absolutely love this. Makes me want to buy a 3-D printer so i can do this for my dogs.
