:door: We’re in the most liminal of Gregorian weeks! Everyone reading this: good for you! You’re in the home stretch!

Nothing externally has changed for me leading into this week, but I have plans nonetheless.

I’ve been organizing my journaling effort for 2026. I will be writing with the motif “Stillness in Motion” in mind, reminiscent of my personal card of the year and a collective one. For 2026, these cards are Temperance and The Wheel of Fortune, respectively.

I embody my sun sign of Gemini incredibly accurately, so practicing sitting still (or, as I’ve taken to saying, “lying in wait,” thank Hamilton) while the world around me spins is a daunting task.

@dan3, phenomenal job being so friendly and interactive! Your acknowledgments have likely been well-received! :purple_heart:

Congrats to @dan3 for the shout-outs! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: As I say quite often, you rock!

No plans this week. I’ve been under the weather since the 25th, and this thing is moving around my body, apparently enjoying its stay. I hope to be able to face the New Year’s celebration with a bit more energy than I have right now.

The snow has left our area, but we’re suddenly in for a big drop in the temps and some flurries this week. Perfect excuse for staying indoors and having tea by the fire. :fire:

I want to find some version of Twelfth Night on TV and watch it soon. Shakespeare is much easier to watch than to read, and this one actually embodies the whole premise of the Pagan holiday since it was written in those times.

@Ploxxieboodle - I admire your Journaling project! Your cards sound lovely.

Wishing everyone a blessed week! :raising_hands:

Thank you! My greatest hope is to maintain at least a little consistency with the project. The cards are certainly very lovely! …In theory. However, they appear to be insistent on correcting my ways as an anxious, perfectionistic busybody. How rude! :face_with_steam_from_nose: :joy:

I want to find some version of Twelfth Night on TV and watch it soon.

I was unable to attend my city’s performance, and apparently it was very well done in terms of perspective. :eyes: Peter Dinklage was cast as Malvolio, which completely changed my mom’s outlook on the part. (She’s both an actor and an English major.) She mentioned how casting him made her consider how cruelly he was treated, which I think is a great angle to pursue. I hope you find a great version to watch, as it’s one of my favorites! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Merry Meet, Friends! :crescent_moon::sparkles:

So much to celebrate as we close out the year! Happy birthdays to our end-of-month stars — sending extra love and sparkles to @EternalIndigo today, @christopher8 tomorrow, and @Limeberry and @suzanne7 on the 31st. :birthday_cake::tada: May your new solar year be kind, magical, and full of good surprises.

A big warm welcome to our newest members — @jennifer12, @trisha2, @carol4, @astrid, @megan1, @bpatel, @samantha4, @sally3, @daisy, @michele3, @dawn10, @aubrey, @dixieflower78, @alice, @mikkoobscura, and @sarah12! :purple_heart::herb: We’re so glad you’re here — make yourselves at home!

Huge shout-out to my divination buddy @dan3 for another amazing week of sharing posts and hearts — two weeks strong!:sparkles: Thank you for always helping keep the energy here generous and alive!

New Year’s plans are cozy and classic for me — my daughter and I will stay up to watch the ball drop in New York like we always do, with a glass of merlot in hand and probably too much commentary. :wine_glass::fireworks: I also get to adult a little this week with two appointments to schedule — a sleep study and physical therapy — future me will be grateful or unhappy, I’m sure.

I’m wrapping up a divination project I’m very excited to share with the coven soon, diving back into tarot, rune, and Lenormand readings this week, and savoring the last three days of Yule. Bonus win: my digital Book of Shadows and Book of Mirrors are finally organized… which feels like a small miracle. :open_book::sparkles:

Wishing everyone a magical, gentle transition into the New Year. Here’s to learning, laughter, and shared magic ahead.

Blessed Be! :herb: :dizzy:

@BryWisteria @Ploxxieboodle @Feathertip @Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth

Welcome to the new week and thanks to all for what you do. I have no idea how I got the shout-out this week but I know many others were part of the recognition and postings. Thanks to them for posting and encouraging all of us. Special thanks to Bry and @MeganB for being on top of everything and providing such a wonderful space for us.

It has been a whale of a week and I finally can button my clothes after conspicuous consumption of all things edible and drinkable. I hope all of you are feeling great about one of our biggest holidays (maybe feeling great about it all passing! )

I am so looking forward to seeing your complete project. The pieces I’ve seen are very professional and draw me in.

Now I have to find a movie about the 12th Night -

Great job, young man! Keep up the great work!

Brilliant! I think I’ll join you in that one.

I started with a list of 12 items to do on my cleansing list. Down to 8 already. That may be the sum of my week. Today’s focus will be a list of stuff to download leftover from Halloween through today’s idea of Twelfth Night. I’ll get stuff wrapped up and cleared out from the year.

Found a YouTube video this morning about how to stop phones and tablets from listening in and broadcasting private business, so I have three more computers upon which to change settings.

@Ploxxieboodle - Thank you! It’s interesting you mentioned Peter Dinklage,as apparently he is in a version that is supposedly still streaming via PBS - I’ll be hunting in earnest now!

No one likes a rude card - the very idea!

@Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth - good luck with the upcoming appointments, Sister! I hope the future you is more grateful than unhappy about them! :hugs:

I’m excited to see the whole thing! You’ve done beautiful work!

:joy: But I’m sure it was all worth it! I’m happy you had such a glorious time!

Excellent idea! Let us know how it goes!

Congratulations @dan3 on your 2 week streak!

Another week has flown by and I don’t know where it went. Hopefully in 2026 I will be more mindful and the year won’t go by in a blur.

It’s cold in Texas for the next couple of days and then it will be time to get out the shorts and flip flops again.

I hope everyone has a beautiful, magickal week!

Woohoo congratulations @dan3

Wow that’s a great theme, that’ll be fab to look back on.

Hope you get well soon lovely and find your Shakespeare, dare I say it as an English woman, but I’m not a fan  I prefer Jane Austin if we’re looking at classics.

(And now I get booted out of England )

I’m so excited

Ooh that’s good to know.

2 days, is that it, it’s gonna be cold here for  4 months, still enjoy your cool weather cuz Texas gets hot

Well I’m just back at work, usual routine but going gif crazy here as the holidays are still in me bones.

Have a lovely week. Skal :clinking_beer_mugs: :green_heart:

Congratulations on the double shout-outs and two-week streak! :tada:

I am in awe of your organizational skills and commitment to journaling!!! Kudos! It’s a skill I’ve let become dormant as I’ve aged.

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear it. No fun to be sick over the holidays. Hoping things start looking up and you’re feeling better soon!

Congratulations, this is big undertaking! :tada:

Oh it’s so lovely and perfectly you! :green_heart:

I can completely relate to this! Phew, fingers crossed for a less chaotic, blurry year next year :crossed_fingers:

This is another wonky week with shelter kitty care Monday, running the last day of the year, running the first day of next, a 2-week post-surgery recheck with the veterinary ophthalmologist, lunch with a friend on Friday, and my SO still at home for the third week in a row

High winds today, and we were without power for a couple of hours, but luckily it’s back in time for me to be able to bake French bread for dinner! In the meantime, I’m working on putting the finishing touches on my Winter Tree Divination set (with my Spring Tree choices all picked out and in the works!)

Wishing everyone a safe holiday week and a wonderful end to the year and a blessed start to the next!

Congratulations, @dan3! You’re on a streak! Way to go!

Sending you good health! I hope your week goes as planned and you have more get up and go!

I just can’t get into it anymore. They usually don’t play music or have groups that I like, so I just skip it and go to bed. I miss Dick Clark.

That sounds interesting! And complicated. Looking forward to hearing about it!

It was so warm in my bedroom last night, I turned on the AC. Today, it’s freezing again. I’d rather it be cold, though. At least with my warm blankets on the bed.

I love your gifs. I don’t know where you find them all, but they’re perfect!

Yeah, you need an extra day just for rest or something. I could never get that much stuffed into one week!

No big plans for the week other than first of the month shopping, paying bills, and that sort of stuff. I am thinking of doing a special ritual shower and cord cutting to put 2025 behind me, but that’s about it. I found some shower gel from Dr. Teal’s that has lemon peel, lemon balm, thyme, and epsom salts in it, and I find that it clears my bad energy away and foams up good, too! So I’ve been liking that. I may do a road opening spell on the 1st; we’ll see how I’m feeling. I want to make next year better than this one.

Spring cleaning starts next week! Or as I call it, Imbolc cleaning. We’ll probably have apartment inspections by the end of January, so I want to get a jump on it. And my bedroom looks horrible. Too much crap pulled out of the closet from both Fall and Yule.

Hope everyone has a good week, and if you’re in the way of the cold snap, stay warm!

So do I! My daughter likes Ryan Seacrest, so she watches the whole thing. I’m there for the last minute nowadays lol!

I promise, beautiful, it’s not complicated at all!

Thank you sweetie - I think the Shakespeare will be on in January - and, I’m reading Pride and Prejudice right now!

No one’s throwing you out anywhere; they’re lucky to have you! :sparkling_heart:

Congratulations for the shout outs @dan3 and thank you for all you do in the Coven. If not for you, I probably wouldn’t have got fascinated by runes!

And welcome to our new members - if you haven’t already, please do make a post and introduce yourselves so we can get to know you.

I don’t have much planned for this week - Eric and I will be on the couch for New Year’s, glasses of wine in hand, hoping that no fireworks land on our roof.

While I don’t do New Year’s resolutions any more, I did go ahead and order a copy of a DVD I had years ago, and foolishly gave away to someone at work. It was called Walk Away the Pounds and it really helped me get fit and move. So it should be arriving any day and I hope that my knees will enable me to do those 1- and 2-mile workouts in the comfort of my living room. I used to enjoy doing the workouts last time and I hope they are as much fun now I am pushing 70.

@Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth - I look forward to seeing the project you have been working on!

Yes, it’s been quite the roller coaster hasn’t it? We had the a/c on with the fire in the fireplace at christmas, now we have the heat on, and soon it will be back to a/c.

The SO has that . It really worked well for her She used it regularly for a year or two. Got to where she was happy, then let it go. A year or two later, she fired it up again. I hated it ("walk, walk, walk  "). It certainly works for her.

It worked really well for me before too – I have several of the more advanced ones as well, but with the knee problems I have now, I need to start slower. On that first video, she really shows you how to adjust the intensity when you need to.

Yea, I can imagine that walk, walk, walk could get annoying if you’re not actually doing it, LOL. I’ll have to keep the volume down so it doesn’t drive Eric nuts.
