thank you again @MeganB. it was nice to meet you and i was surprised to see the message you sent was handcrafted.

there seems to be a lot of information here. is there a way to find posts on certain topics without knowing exactly what i’m looking for and using search terms? i’m still discovering and thinking about where to focus

No worries! We’re here to help and answer as best we can!

Well, Artemis was first even if it took me a long time to figure out it was her.

I’ve got a couple posts about my story with her

Hekate made herself known a few winters ago and I work with her during the dark months of the year as I reflect and do more shadowwork.

Selene has been there longer than I thought as well as I was thinking about her a few years ago

Around the end of Feburary this year, I started doing tarot spreads to figure out who else was there in addition to Artemis and Selene. Took a few different tarot spreads to narrow it down to 4 and then I created questions and used a pendulum to clear it up for me once and for all!

This was my first ritual with Selene.

Maybe more than you wanted to know :joy: but that’s my story if a nutshell!

My posts linked twice in one thread? Something’s going on.

Ooh. Lilith things! :black_moon_lilith:

Okay, well… First of all…

Welcome, @ignis! It’s lovely to meet you. :black_heart:

I’m Katerina, and I currently reside in Australia with my partner and two cats.

Anyway, if you’re looking for more information on Lilith, well… Actually, she’s a bit difficult to pin down. To many, she’s a goddess, to many she’s a “demon” or succubus, to many, she has many various aspects which encompass those and more.

But somewhere to start are the masterposts.

Her posts are compiled in the “Other Deities” one here:

And in our Demonolatry one here:

But you will likely find others floating around, too. For example, we talk about her in our thread about working with blood in magick, if that’s something you might be interested in:

As for my personal journey towards her, I wrote a bunch about that here, in case you’re curious. :black_heart:

Of course babe. Feel free to ask away :people_hugging::people_hugging: only stupid questions are the ones not asked in my opinion :two_hearts:

Another lover of darkness? Welcome! :smile_cat: :black_heart:

I’m Celestia, I’ve worked with, or more like had a deep bond with Lilith and Kali for some time now. I like to immerse myself in their energy and enjoy the world of sensation. Thanks to a few lovely people here I’ve come to get to know Satan and Lucifer as well.

I enjoy tantra, sex and blood magick, poetry and metaphysics. And more general witchy things like tarot, crystals and astrology too  And dream work. I connect with fire as well, and also water. I’m excited to get to know you :sparkling_heart:

It’s just one of those personal touch kind of things that I enjoy  It’s mostly a template, but I do send it personally to each new member!

The best way to do this is probably with the tag system. We have many tags that we use for posts on different topics and we try to do a good job at keeping relevant posts tagged. You can find a full list of tags here → A Handy List of Tags

And using the search function with #astrology will pull up all posts with the tag. Or you can also click the relevant tag in the link above

Hello @ignis,

Welcome! I’m Bry, another one of the moderators and an Eclectic Witch. Just stopping by to say that it’s a pleasure to meet you

It sounds like you’ve been thriving in your studies! And it’s so wonderful that your partner is very supportive of you. She’s right about the community - there are many great resources here, but the best resource of all is the coven itself! Please know that you are always welcome to ask questions or seek resources. The wisdom of the group is at your fingertips :mage: :two_hearts:

Mkae yourself at home here, Ignis - blessed be!

@Satans_Helper well said! :smile:

@CelestiaMoon thank you and yes  we talked about this the other day with my partner. she was asking which tarot deck i liked the look of and i told her i’m at peace with how much i enjoy the edgy aesthetic. so she showed me a few decks and some looked nice then she showed me one with pretty macabre scenes and i was like “that’s it” hahaha

what does dream work involve? if you don’t mind me asking

@MeganB thank you for the tag link.

i’ve finally found these useful links in the hamburger menu too. i’m terrible with modern website UI. i’m much better with those japanese websites that look like excel spreadsheets and are just dumps of data haha

@AIRAM thank you :smile:

@BryWisteria nice to meet you too. thank you. i am feeling very welcomed here. a little overwhelmed. it’s my first time actively engaging in a public forum.

well i posted to reddit once haha. it was someone asking for game help i think

but i’m enjoying getting to know everyone. please don’t take me wrong

and i hope i’m doing this mentioning right. my partner says yes but she always does. and she told me to say that too  haha

You’re welcome! I’m not familiar with the Japanese websites you mention, but I imagine getting used to that kind of UI versus the one here on Spells8 is vastly different  and yes, you’re doing the mentioning thing right, I promise!

That could be a fun idea for a thread, your favorite dark deck :black_heart: For tarot I have my Crystal Visions that I’ve been using for years, I’m in love with the vibrant colors and fantasy like artwork. There’s both light and dark, and that’s the way I like it. Both can be beautiful.

For me, mostly dream interpretation, which intersects with symbolism, correspondences and archetypes, also things I’m excited about. Lucid dreaming counts too, but I have much less experience with that.

I’m sure as you learn you will grow and be more confident. Taking the first step to actually do something is the hardest part! Good luck!

@ignis I ran across this protection spell tonight while going through my books.

This is the book I found it in. It has a lot of good spells for all kinds of things.

You’re doing fantastic! Grouping replies into one post is neat and easy to read, but it can also be tricky to figure out how to do at first - you’ve already mastered it, way to go! :star2:

Blessed be!
