Congratulations @Moonbeam and @Greenbriar!!!

I’ve been working on a vegetable garden and I’m almost done.

I’m taking a few days off this week because we are having a family reunion in Louisiana on Saturday, so that’s something I’m looking forward to.

I finished my Maypole!

I hope everyone has a beautiful week!

Happy to see you all here!

Congratulations! Keep up the great work! Thank you for caring!

Safe travels! Have fun!

I’d like to think this week will be calm and quiet. I still have much to do to clean up after my mouse guest, but I caught the local flu and was down for a couple of days. Today, I’m ambitious and hopeful of getting some of the bigger things done. The cool weather will help: I’ll stay in and focus as much as possible so I don’t have so much on my shoulders when the weather gets more conducive of being outdoors.

I’m still catching up with posts I missed over the past week. Sorry I’m so far behind! Yet it is fun to see so much good stuff going on!

Have a great week, everyone!

Me too!!! The week flew by!

Thank you!! I’m a week in and I have learned so much from all of you already! This week I am hoping tap into that New Moon energy on Friday! Thank you all for having this space and welcoming me so generously!

Welcome to all our new members! We are glad you are here.

Congratulations to @Moonbeam for the shout out, and thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. And yay me! for sharing the love, lol.

Not much planned for me this week, although once the garden is dried out a bit, I want to get out there and plant some color.

My herbs from last year - the lemon balm, broad leaf sage, rosemary etc. all made it through winter and are still growing nicely. Time to do some snipping and hang them up to dry.

In fact, the lemon balm has taken over half the veggie bed, so it’s going to get seriously trimmed.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Welcome, everyone - Merry Meet! We’re happy you’re here.

Congrats on the shout-outs, lovelies! :sparkling_heart:

@Ostara - oh, your Maypole turned out beautifully! It’s a thing of beauty! I hope your have a wonderful family reunion this Saturday. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

So sorry - glad you’re better now, and feeling ambitious today!

We’re happy you’re here with us!

I do miss the ease of having winters that are warm enough to reclaim some herbs every year. I had a massive rosemary bush in Georgia that wouldn’t hold back no matter how much it got trimmed.

Have fun getting everything back into shape for the summer! :herb:

Not too much on tap for me this week. A long-overdue haircut this Wednesday - I’m almost afraid to go because I don’t like it too short, either. :joy:

I want to get some basil started under the grow lights. I had success keeping my potted basil alive in the sunroom over the winter, but it’s exhausted and begging me to leave it alone now. I just don’t like buying herbs, but it seems there’s usually a lag time up in the North - I’m still not in sync, grrr!

My little Morning Glory seedlings are coming along nicely and will be ready to move away from the grow lights so I can start my herbs. The big store run of the week for me will be to a nursery for seeds and more seed pots.

Wishing everyone a magickal week! :sparkles:  :feather:

Congratulations to our forum superstars!! :purple_heart:

And have a wonderful, blessed week everyone!

Thank you @Feathertip!

I have some morning glory seedlings started too. Hubby had killed all of my morning glories a few years ago. I was so upset he ordered me a ton of seeds. This is the first year I’ve tried them.

@Greenbriar we had such a mild winter, all of my herbs survived too. I’m going to be harvesting right along with you!:herb:

Eeek - naughty hubby! I’m sure yours will grow again like wildfire down there - enjoy their beauty! I am excited to get mine in the ground, but up here that won’t be until May.

Good luck with them!

Congrats to @Moonbeam and @Greenbriar!

Also a big welcome to all the new members.

Today is waiting in line at the post office to send off our taxes. Leaving in a few minutes. Yay! (Groan…)

I’ve been busy cleaning up my digital backup of card decks - which will last a few days. I’m supposed to get a new deck today. I like themed decks so today is a Tarot deck themed to The Godfather Trilogy. I will probably modify it. I made a Lenormand deck with that theme and I like it but I’m confused about how to get 78 cards for a Tarot deck.

Spring cleanup is in effect, too. We look like a construction site with people coming in to do lots of lawn things and to fix the Winter boo-boos on the house. We’re still doing the internal redesign on some rooms - that will go on for a couple of months. I’ve noticed that the SO is going through a darker hues phase (generally, I think men like lighter shades - maybe it is just me). So we are in a lot of discussions on color. There are color samples all over the house!

@BryWisteria - thanks for doing the Weekly News. - you rock!

All you’d have to do is add a National Birding Day and you’d have my week covered! :bird: :herb::shovel:

:tada: Congratulations on the shout outs this week :tada: and thank you @moonbeam for sharing the most wisdom and to @Greenbrier for sharing the most love. :pink_heart:

My week is jam-packed in the best way! Just finished a solo shift taking care of the adoptable cats :cat: at the shelter, tomorrow. I have my second birding :bird: trip this spring and excited to see what birds have migrated down. Wednesday I meet with the North Carolina native plant :herb:society for a field trip and identifying wildflowers :blossom:, that afternoon I am going out to work to get claw and tooth molds l:lion:. Thursday I have a bone scan :x_ray: and Friday lunch with a friend.

Happy Monday and I wish everyone a productive start to their week!

Congratulations to @Moonbeam and @Greenbriar for being totally awesome! Why yes, I’m feeling very 80s today. LOL!

Congrats! That’s hard work. May your garden grow lots of goodies! And have fun at your reunion!

It looks radical! Very pretty!

You’d better get checked out and make sure it was just the flu. I worry. Good luck catching up both at home and here!

I have nothing to comment on your comment, but I wanted to say hi again and not let you feel left out. So, HI! :waving_hand:

That’s great! You’ve got a green thumb! Lemon balm will make loads of yummy tea. Here’s an idea of what you do with it!

Here are a few more! Hope that gives you some ideas!

Good luck! I hope you’re able to make everything grow!

I hope they sprout nicely! Good luck!

Nice! That sounds interesting. I wonder who death is?

Eep. That sounds fun but scary. Good luck!

Wow. That is a packed week! May you have fun and good luck during all of your appointments! Give the kitties and extra hug from me!

Well, I got discharged from Wound Care again, so yay! And I only have one more doctor appointment this month, and only one next month! I won’t know what to do with myself! My new glasses are in, too, so I’ll have to spend some time getting used to that. I’m weird, I like the lines in my bifocals. Mostly because it’s cheaper. But still, weird.

I have no idea what I’m going to do for the New Moon. I just know I want to do something. So we’ll see if I figure that one out. I also need to start figuring out Beltane. That’ll be a Full Moon, too, so some major magic will be floating around.

No big plans for this week. I need to take pictures of my altar for the challenge, but that’s about it! I’ve got some plans for Pride Month and maybe annoying my neighbors, but for right now, I’m being good. I think Loki has been prodding me a bit; I’ve been feeling a bit rebellious. So we’ll see what happens. LOL!

Hope everyone has a good week! Have a good New Moon!

Blessings, coven!

Eira here, checking in for the week. I’m really looking forward to our group ritual on April 16th, the energy feels like it’s building already. With the New Moon on Friday the 17th, I’m still sorting out what intention to plant, but I’m sure something will spark before then.

I can’t wait for Fun Friday and @Feathertip’s questions. And what a magical week ahead:
• Apr 14 – National Gardening Day
• Apr 15 – Celtic Tree Month of Willow begins
• Apr 17 – Herbalist Day
• Apr 19 – Taurus Season opens

I’m still working on last week’s witchy challenge (Altar Design) and hoping to carve out time for all the divination activities, tarot, runes, Lenormand, oracle, the whole cauldron.

Happy Birthday to @amieb, @Shine-Bright-Amber, and @Rvn1512 this week! :birthday_cake: :tada:
Welcome to all our new members: @a11 - @jennifer19 - @sharon3 - @michelle6 - @shanna5 - @laney - @kathleen6 - @Daisylily - @rowan1 - @mary32 - @antonis1 - @rhiannon2 - @paige2 - @lucian - @christal - @adawnya4 - @shaunna2. May your path be bright and your magic rooted.
Special shout-outs to @Moonbeam for sharing the most posts and @Greenbriar for spreading the most hearts. Your wisdom and love are very much appreciated!

I’ve got therapy this week and my daughter has appointments, so it’s a bit busy, but otherwise a quiet stretch focused on learning more divination and weaving small spells into home life.

May your herbs be fragrant and your candles burn steady.

Blessed Be! :herb: :dizzy:

Good luck! It’s this time of year when I wish I were good at growing things.

Yeah. It looks like I was one of the last in the building to catch it. This isn’t lasting long for anyone. If I have symptoms other than what others have complained about, I will have it checked out… especially that pocket full of posies like the rhyme suggests. So far, no bugs, though. I may have gotten lucky on many levels with this one.

:confetti_ball::tada:

Yes! Happy Birthday! :birthday_cake::wrapped_gift::piñata::candle:

Congratulations @Greenbriar on your shout out :pink_heart: it is good to have sometime to think and plan for what you want to do in your garden :seedling::hibiscus:. Glad your herbs have made it. I lost a lot due to a very wet winter but it will give me a chance to also think what I want. I hope you have a peaceful week.

@Ostara thank you. It looks like we are all gardening. Glad you have made good progress. Love :green_heart::seedling: your Maypole. You are very talented in your creations “Sage Cleasing Sticks) were amazing. Wishing you a very happy reunion with your family. :pink_heart:

@BryWisteria thank you for your kind thoughts I very much appreciate it and the events/news for this coming week. Looking forward to the Tea Ritual :teapot::pink_heart:

@georgia Thank you. Sending blessings to you for a speedy recovery. There is nothing worse wanting to get on with things but feeling drained, flu does take it out of you. Keep toasty and rest up a bit if you can :pink_heart:

@Feathertip Thank you. I went to the Hairdresser (Caroline) last Saturday. I have to be on high alert when I see her pick up her scissors as I know she is keen to chop away. I tell her every time to just take off any spilt ends. Be ready as they cannot help it bless them. Wishing you a peaceful week.

@dan3 Thank you. Digital cleaning as time consuming. I have just been through photographs on my iPhone. I try to keep on top it. Hope you find a solution to your deck issue. Good luck with your house re-design

@Artemisia Thank you A busy week for you indeed. Your field trip and identifying wildflowers sounds lovely and lunch with a friend is always good to have catch up as weeks seem to go by so fast :pink_heart::hibiscus:

@Amethyst Thank you I love the 80’s music may not so much the clothes and hairstyles! I have not done photographs yet and still have to think about Beltane. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with I am sure it will be lovely :pink_heart:

@Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth Thank you. I really love all Tea Rituals :pink_heart::seedling::teapot: a chance to stop, chill and peaceful for an hour. Last week was busy so have to start thinking about last weeks Witchy Challenge. Hoping you will find some downtime for yourself :pink_heart:

If I have forgotten anyone thank you for your posts.

My working week has started gently but I know that Tuesday, Thursday and Friday I will be playing catch up luckily no appointments this week. I will see how it will unfold.

Wishing everyone a blessed week :dotted_six_pointed_star::waning_crescent_moon::pink_heart:

Oi! You’re not just whistling Dixie, there! I didn’t do it thoroughly enough before, and things really piled up. Now, I’m dealing with deterioration as well as overabundance! It might take me all year to get through everything. It is getting organized, though.

Much appreciated! :purple_heart:
