Congratulations to @Feathertip and @Ostara! Thank you for sharing the love with the coven!

Hello to all the new members! I hope you like it here!

Well, I found what I want to do for Beltane, so I’m set for this weekend. I’ll be celebrating on Saturday instead of Friday. Mostly because I want to put fresh flowers on the altar from Walmart, and they won’t get here till after I usually do my rituals on Friday.

I’ve got no big plans this week. Everything is going well for me. Which means I’m waiting for an asteroid to fall on my building or the Zombie Apocalypse. But other than that, it’s all good! LOL!

Hope everyone has a good week!

Welcome to our new members! We’re glad you’re here with us!

Congrats on the shout-out, @Ostara! We’re lucky to have your big heart amongst us! :sparkling_heart:

 Well, let’s hope not! I say, you’re settling in for a peaceful time, and it’s well-deserved after the months and months of all the appointments and stuff you’ve been through. Enjoy it! Hope you have a lovely Beltane!

I’m hoping for some fun this week. The landscaper I talked to about removing the dead trees and helping me design a cottage garden in the front yard is coming out sometime. She wasn’t sure which day but she has a plan drawn up. Here’s hoping it won’t break the bank!

I’m looking forward to Beltane! Fingers crossed for a clear night for the Flower Moon! It would be lovely to charge up new moon water on Beltane. I’ll have to find out what to cook.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week and a blessed Beltane! :raising_hands: :sparkles: :sparkling_heart:

Wow! I can’t believe how fast this month has gone!! I am so excited for my first Beltane!! I do have to bring my kid to fencing Thursday, but I will light a fire after and do my work.

Welcome to all of you!! I hope you learn to love this place as much as I do. I’ve only been here a few weeks and I can’t tell you all that I have learned!

I just created my first spell this week!! I posted it in the recipe forum so I can get some feedback from the experts!

I hope you all have an amazing week! Sending you all some happy sunshiney vibes from Michigan this morning. Feeling very balanced this morning thanks to meditation, art, and some witchy stuff!

Everyone enjoy your Beltane festivities and full moon rituals!

Merry Monday!:sun:

I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one waiting for a catastrophe! I’m not (almost) waiting with my lawn chair and my popcorn, but I feel it in the air so profoundly, it’s more and more present, I’m just waiting for the culmination, the climax…

Do you feel the same?

Have a blessed day!

While I haven’t been getting those vibes exactly, it does feel like we are building up to something. Maybe its this Beltane full moon. That would be way better than @Amethyst’s zombies!

Congratulations to you both for the shout outs. Thank you for being so awesome!

Welcome to all our new members. I’m glad you have joined us.

I’m looking forward to the Sabbat, although I’m going to have to arrange my own celebration around the garden club meeting which will be happening Friday morning. The new officers for the coming year will be sworn in, and that includes me as recording secretary, so it will be a fun meeting. I’ll probably do my Beltane ritual in the afternoon, either at my altar indoors, or if the weather is pleasant and not hot and humid, on the patio or in the garden.

Eric and I are heading up to our little rental cabin in northeast Texas on Monday and will be coming back Friday. I should still be able to check in here while we’re away, but obviously, not as much!

Oh how wonderful! I need to work on our front yard, it’s pretty grim.

Congratulations to the both of you!!! :sparkler:

Oh, this is such a european thing to celebrate - at least in Austria and Germany, IĀ“m not sure about other european countries. Maybe yĀ“all know that Austria is full of old castles, like…we have so many we could sell them. And many of them have been turned into Museums for folklore and local history and such. But on Walpurgisnacht almost all of them are hosting some medieval-inspired market or festival (like Renaissance faires), with bonfires and dance and jumping over the fire. Sometimes they will even have real witches do protection rituals for the community, which is always super nice to participate.
Here in Vienna it is also a day for many dance clubs to have witchy theme nights. And then all the witchy and goth folks are dressing up and you can see pointy hats and black lace dresses and people on the street will call out: The witches are coming! It“s such fun!

Well…which one would you prefer?

Yeeeessss! Enjoy it, dear! :purple_heart:

This sounds like a nice little vacation! Enjoy it!

Oh, how fun! That area is gorgeous and looks so peaceful. I know you’ll have a wonderful time!

I definitely will! I’m hoping I can afford all her suggestions - if I like them. We discussed color profiles more than anything at the first meeting, so we’re still in the early stages. There’s a lot to tear out, too. I’m excited!

Merry Meet, friends! :cherry_blossom::fire::sparkles:

Beltane energy is in the air, and I am here for it, that beautiful fire and flower magic of April 30th to May 1st, paired with the Flower Full Moon feels like such a vibrant, alive moment on the Wheel. :full_moon::hibiscus: Between Floralia, International Dance Day, Walpurgis Night, and even Paranormal Day, this week is just bursting with energy, movement, and a little mischief.

I’m almost ready to post my entry for the Transformation Magick challenge, it’s coming together slowly but surely.

Happy Birthday to @melissa8, @christina4, and @Rev_Angel this week, wishing you all a magical year ahead! :birthday_cake::sparkles:

A warm welcome to our new members: @lori, @shrine-dev, @shrine-dev1, @shrine-dev2, @amanda17, @patty, @park, @roxanne3, @you1, @michael5, @kerwin, @amber11, @grace3, @nina1, and @lineo1. So glad you’ve joined us! :purple_heart:

Big congratulations to our shout-outs this week! @Feathertip on a two-week streak for sharing posts (you go sis), and @Ostara for spreading all that love with hearts. You both help keep this space glowing and I definitely feel loved. :sparkles:

@Feathertip: a cottage garden design sounds absolutely dreamy… I hope you have so much fun bringing that vision to life! :herb:
@shanna5: enjoy your very first Beltane! There’s nothing quite like it :fire::cherry_blossom:
@Greenbriar: congratulations on becoming recording secretary! That’s amazing, and I hope you and Eric have a wonderful, relaxing time at your cabin. :evergreen_tree::sparkles:
@Katharina: enjoy Walpurgis Night! I wish I could be there too… it sounds magical and full of energy. :fire:

On my end, it’s a full but grounding week, therapy visits again, my daughter has an appointment today, and I’ll be cleaning later in the week to get ready for my oldest daughter, her husband, and my grandbabies visiting next week (which I’m so excited about :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:). Today was also laundry day… ugh.

I picked up a tarot journal recently and I’m working on adding all my birth chart information into it, which has been really fun. And I’ve been in the mood to read… I’ve officially reached the age where I can’t read just one book at a time :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I’ve got two Norse Paganism books going, Psychic Witch by Mat Auryn, and Drawing Down the Moon by Margot Adler all going at once. My mind is everywhere, but in a good way.

Wishing everyone a fiery, joyful, and abundant Beltane week.
Blessed Be :herb: :dizzy:

Thanks, love! I hope that’s it. I’m not used to there not being something going wrong. LOL! Hopefully, it’s just a little meteoroid and not something huge.

I hope it’s something that maybe you can use some of the dead trees for, if only for mulch. That would save you some money. I hope it’s the Witchy Garden of your dreams!

That was a lovely bit of spellwork! You did great!

I don’t know if it’s in the air or my personal paranoia. I feel like things are too good for me, personally. But it could be a big thing. I’m a bit head blind, so it’s hard for me to tell. But hey, at least you got the popcorn ready!

Much better! I’ll take a Full Moon over a catastrophe any day!

I hope it’s nice and you can do it outside! And yay for being made Secretary! And happy vacation! I hope your trip to the cabin is nice!

Thank you! I’m hoping to get roses, but we’ll see. I love roses. Hope you have a Blessed Beltane!

That sounds like so much fun! The Southern Churches around here would sooner set themselves on fire before allowing that to happen!

Asteroid. I can’t run fast enough to get away from zombies, but that seems like an awful death. The asteroid would be over faster. Although knowing my luck, I’m going to be like Georgia from that movie Dead Like Me and get killed by a toilet seat that fell out of the space station or something.

That’s great! I gotta figure out what to transform first. LOL!

I get like that sometimes. As long as you can figure it out, it’s all good!

Have a good visit with your family!

Congratulations @Feathertip!

Thak you @Amethyst, @Feathertip, @Greenbriar, @Moonbeam, @katharina, and @Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth!

@Amethyst on March 21st a meteor exploded over Houston. Supposedly it could be heard all over the state. I was sleeping a the time so I missed it. A piece of it went through one womens roof. Talk about bad luck! :derelict_house: :shooting_star:

@Feathertip, I’m looking forward to seeing your cottage garden. Please share a pic when it’s done.

@shanna5 congratulations on your first spell! :magic_wand:

@Greenbriar congratulations on being recording secretary for the garden club! It’s supposed to be chilly this weekend (unheard of for Texas in May) so pack your longjohns for the cabin!

I want to see a real castle!!! That is so cool and Walpurgisnacht sounds like fun.

@Eira_of_the_Living_Hearth I thought I was the only one who reads more than one book at a time. It’s nice to know someone else does also!

I’m at work running on very little sleep because we had training after work today. I’m on call all week, but hopefully I will be off tomorrow and Thursday (I have to work Wednesday). I’m planning on celebrating Beltane on Thursday night.

I hope everyone has a beautiful, magickal week!

Fair enough. Having your brain eaten seems unpleasant.

But now she has a piece of meteorit and a cool story to tell…soooooo

Please, come to Austria and find the castle of your dreams.

Luckily the christian church looses influence slowly but surely. Every year more and more people turn away from it, by now the stats tell that only 49% of Austrians are catholic christians.
Also, there were some traditions for summer solstice where a life-size doll of a witch would be burned, which is forbidden by law since a few years. The witch hunts are acknowledged as one of europes largest crimes against humanity.

Hello Fam & Friends, this week I am planning on using a spell which is easy. It is to keep out evil
:sparkles:I am planning on using let me see how I wouldn’t know with his ultimate reference 5000 Spells my
:chess_pawn:Add Four :four: Thieves Vinegar. Sea Salt and 18 drops of essential oil of rosemary to a bucket of water. Wash the floors, woodwork and window seals, concentrating on thresholds and dark corners. I hope you all have a good week!

See! It could happen! Luckily, I’m on the first floor. It’ll have to go through the apartment above me first. LOL!

Get some rest when you can! And have a good ritual on Thursday!

Yeah, in all the movies and fics I’ve read, they don’t seem to stop there.

Huh. That’s a pretty good figure. We have all sorts of churches around here. I grew up Methodist, which is pretty progressive. My Mom was even a lay preacher. Went to classes for it and everything. They allow Gay pastors, too. At least most do. But some of the, what I and Sally call, Holy Roller churches are just plain scary! Little out-of-the-way places that start their own religion, sort of anyhow. Like down in Jolo, where there are snake handlers. I mean, I’ve gotten looks from some of them for wearing a dress without hose to the doctor’s office. I’m sure if they had paid attention and seen whatever pendant I was wearing, they’d have had a full-blown cow with mad cow disease right there in the waiting room. Depending on how witchy my pendant was. Thankfully, you can almost always tell those sorts by the dress code the women must abide by. So if I see them, I tuck it under my shirt. I don’t need anyone trying to save my sold from eternal damnation while waiting for a colonoscopy or the OBGYN.

That sounds handy! And it would clean well, too! Good idea!

 I hear you and I also know the type. I lived in the Atlanta area for decades. Atlanta itself is progressive, and the immediate areas around it - but you don’t want to be trying to ā€œbe yourselfā€ out in those lovely rural areas of the Deep South. I’m sure there are some gentle souls around - I just never came across them.

Yes, no matter their differences, they are all united in the belief that women need to be oppressed. I truly hope more and more women liberate themselves from the dogma and the negative ideas about their bodies. Womens bodies are beautiful, powerful and sacred.
