Who were you then, and who are you now?
A sure constant in our lives is change- and as we live and we learn, our magickal practices grow and develop as we do. Our current selves are shaped by the many changes we face along our magickal journeys.
Within the same series as the challenges History of Magick and Teachers of Magick , this weekâs theme is reflective in nature. However, this time the focus is much more personal- this week, the spotlight is on you and your magickal journey so far.
This weekâs theme challenges you to look back on your magickal path and how it has changed you - but as always, how you do so is up to you!

New to magick?
Witches who are just embarking on their magickal journeys are very much welcome to join this challenge too! While your magickal journey may not yet be a long one, there is still a lot for you to explore in the events that led you to embrace your Craft and things that made you decide to pursue magick. Feel free to explore the very exciting prologue and beginning of your magickal adventure!

STEP 1 : What Has Changed You?
As a personal reflection, you are free to look back on your magickal practice and the many ups and downs of the journey however you see fit.
Not quite sure where to begin?
If you would like some guidance, you are welcome to explore your path through the gentle guidelines of some prompt questions. Feel free to answer as few or as many as youâd like!

Through the Pages of Your Story
Have you kept a Books of Mirrors, Grimoire, Reflective Journal or other sacred book during your practice? If you have- now is a great time to sit down and flip through the pages to look back on your magickal story so far.
If you havenât yet considered keeping a journal (or were waiting for a sign to get started)- in the nature of this challenge, now is a great time to honor your own journey by beginning to keep a record of it

From deep meditations to heartfelt journalling , to talking with those who have been a part of your journey or offering gratitude for how far youâve come - there are many ways to reflect on your path so far.
As with all weekly witchy challenges, you are free to be creative and explore the theme in a way that resonates with you. And this is more true now than ever, as this is a challenge about enjoying your unique magickal journey so far!

Everyone is welcome to join the challenge by practicing magick in line with the current theme. For those who donât feel comfortable sharing, it is absolutely okay to follow along with the challenge but keep your entry personal. Feel free to join in spirit and do what feels most comfortable for you!
That being said, please know that if you would like to receive a prize and a public shout-out, it is required that you share your experience .
To participate in the challenge, please share:
- How you took time to look back on your magickal journey and how it has changed you
For your entry to be counted, please write about your experience in the comments below and/or create a new thread in the forums.

This challenge will close in 6 DAYS
To join in, please share your experience by:
Tuesday, July 12th at 7:00 AM CET (Central European Time)

For their efforts, all participants will receive a special shout-out and a small prize!
Acknowledgments will be given in a Props and Presents Post that will appear in the forums on Tuesday.
After the challenge closes, you are still very welcome to post but please be aware that no additional prizes will be given. This discussion will remain open for about a week after the challenge finishes.
