Merry meet!
Thank you once again to everyone who joined in for last weekâs Weekly Witchy Challenge - A Witchâs Companions
After spending time appreciating our magickal buddies last week, get ready to roll up your sleeves- itâs time to get crafting and enchanting this week!
The theme for this weekâs challenge isâŚ
Amulets & Talismans
What is the difference between an amulet and a talisman?
An amulet is worn to ward off negative influences, creating protection. Meanwhile, a talisman draws near the desired thing, creating attraction. A lucky charm could be considered both an amulet (if itâs meant to protect the wearer from harm), and a talisman (if itâs meant to bring good fortune).
From Spells8: Enchanting Jewelry Guide
Amulets and talismans are often crafted as original pieces to either attract or protect against a certain intention. They can also be made by enchanting an object you already have. The enchanted object would then be either an amulet or talisman depending on the witchâs intention set while casting.

This challenge is all about amulets and talismans- but how you choose to take on this theme is up to you!
Still not sure where to begin? To help you get started, here are a few ways in which a witch might approach this challenge.
Like sigils, amulets and talismans hold magick over a period of time- even when you arenât casting, they are working for you! Not only are they highly beneficial, they are also very easy to make. For this challenge, consider making your own amulet or talisman (and activating/consecrating them if you so choose!)- they can be created either from scratch or by enchanting an object you already have
