Welcome to all!
Another round of applause for the fiery souls who joined in on last week’s Weekly Witchy Challenge- Of Candles and Flame
After illuminating the world with candle magick, it is time to use that light to craft some wonderful and magickal things- made with love!
The theme for this week’s challenge is…
Magickal Crafting
From grandma’s knitted scarves to mom’s home cooking- there is something uniquely special about things made from the heart. Nothing bought at the store ready-to-go can ever compare to something meticulously made just for you with love
Making something with your hands is similar to working magic- you have to:
- gather ingredients
- focus your intent
- and bring something into existence that wasn’t there before.
This challenge is about looking at what you can do and using your skills to make something magickal!
Are you ready? It’s… CHALLENGE TIME!
STEP 1 : Creative Crafting
Everyone has different talents, hobbies, and abilities- this challenge encourages you to put your talents to work to manifest something for your practice.
Do you feel like you don’t have any talents? Or perhaps you are good at things that seem unrelated to magick?
No worries!
This challenge is your opportunity to take a long, hard look at the things you can do (or perhaps the things you want to learn how to do!) and apply them in new or creative ways.
Not sure where to begin? Here are some ideas to help get you started:
Deity-specific Crafts
Some deities have special symbols or items that are commonly offered or displayed in Their name. You might consider making something like Brigids Cross- a beautiful and symbolic craft in honor of the Celtic Goddess Brigid.

Don’t have a deity in mind? How about taking a look at deities that deal with crafting and the arts.
Wonderful Wands
A wand is one of the favorite tools of the witches’ trade! If you don’t have one- why not try making your own?

Beautiful Besoms and Brooms
Besoms/brooms are a great tool for witches and can used in various rituals.

Powerful Pouches
Big magick can come in small sizes! Pouches have a variety of uses and are a great way to bring your magick with you when you leave home.

Take a look at making a Prosperity Pouch, a Dream Sachet, or Protection Pouch. Or consider designing a spell pouch for a different purpose!
Jars of Goodness
Jar spells are highly adaptable to fit any kind of magic you wish to make. They are easy and cheap to put together- and the end result is both beautiful and inspirational!

There are many possible jar spells you can try- how about a Protection Jar Spell, Jar Spell for Good Luck, or an Intentions Jar Spell to get started?
Art as Magick
Art can be considered a magickal practice in and of itself. Even just the actions of a pen or brush on paper are meditative, reflective, and inspiring. Some witches may even consider themselves to be Art Witches!

There are many ways to use art for magick. You might consider painting, drawing, writing about, or writing to a deity of your choice. Or focus on expressing your experience with magick in general.

For those without paint, know that words have a magick of their very own- consider creating something! For written inspiration, check out @Amethyst’s phenomenal Tarot Poems
NOTE: If you’re still not quite ready to get started, consider Expanding Your Creativity or doing a Motivation and Creativity Spell to help get you going
You can do this- believe in yourself!
