Merry meet!
Thank you once again to everyone who joined in for last week’s Weekly Witchy Challenge - Amulets & Talismans
Had your fill of crafting charms? Hope you still have some room left, as we are taking a bite out of the culinary side of the Craft this week!
The theme for this week’s challenge honors the Vestalia Festival this week and is…
Culinary Magick: Cooking, Baking & Grilling
With the ancient fire and hearth festival Vestalia this week, it’s a great occasion to enjoy some time in the kitchen. No matter the season, the hearth is the heart of the home- and it’s also the domain of a Kitchen Witch!
Whether you enjoy the art of cooking or the science of baking (or prefer being a connoisseur ), this challenge is all about getting crafty in the kitchen. Whatever cooking, baking, and kitchen crafting you choose to do, the fun is all in the experience- and also in showing off your magickal treats with your fellow coven members!

This week’s challenge is about culinary magick - but as always, how you do so is up to you!
So are you ready? Because it’s…
CHALLENGE TIME!

STEP 1 : The Culinary Craft
This challenge is about magick in the kitchen- but how you choose to take on this theme is up to you!
Still not sure where to begin? To help you get started, here are a few ways in which a witch might approach this challenge.
Kitchen Witchery is the act of using magick in the kitchen- it can be as elaborate as crafting a magickal feast for a Sabbat, or as simple as stirring some love into your morning cup of tea!
Want to learn more about Kitchen Witchery? There are some introductory pointers and tips for kitchen magick success in the Kitchen Magick Guide:
Like most areas of magick, there are no set rules when it comes to cooking and baking with magick. While there are plenty of magickal recipes out there ready to use, any recipe can be enhanced with a magick touch.
Feel free to explore and carve your own path in the kitchen!
Whether you enjoy the art of cooking on a stovetop or by crockpot, the complex science of careful baking in the oven or toaster oven, or free-spirited grilling on an open flame- there is a form of magickal food craft out there for everyone!
