(Forgive me- I couldn’t resist :face_with_hand_over_mouth: :cupcake: )

Hmm…I have some little cookie bowl maker things that I picked up on clearance at the craft store last year. I’ve never used them…maybe now’s the chance? I’ll have to see how this turns out!

Would getting Sally to make it count?

Baking? I burn water :joy: I’ll have to come up with something

Lol considering ive been having protein shakes breakfast n dinner n rice meal at lunch im due for a food shop but have to wait till maybw friday or weekend but give time to think about what i can do for this. Until then ill have to make do with what i have, little as it is lol but maybe the thought of baking up some magic will be something to look forward to should i survive the week with any sort of energy or sanity left :joy::joy::joy: and of course id want to add runes to the cooking whatever it is lol i dont know maybe ive kinda got obsessed with runes lately even when looking up protection spells lookibg up bind runes. Maybe i can cook something n add runes to it some how.

I’ll see if there’s anything that I can cook (not much of a cook, by the way ). If not, I could always find and share some recipes for dishes that I plan to bake down the road.

Challenge Entry: Here is my recipe for Homemade Brownies I made last week. I know it is not this week, LOL. But it is something that was done recently. I had planned on sharing it. I added a pic before I put it in the oven to bake.

Homemade browines
1 2/3 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 tbsp water
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

I also added walnuts to mine

Preheat oven 350 degrees and grease the pan
Bake until middle is solid all the way through 18-25 min and do the butter knife test

Fabulous show, althought my baking isn’t up to their standard :joy:

Delicious. This challenge is going to be torture as I can’t taste anything!
@Phoenix_Fire maybe make some “runes” American cookies. My stepmum (whose from Texas) makes divine cookies.

Pomegranate liqueur
1 (1)
At work!
3 glasses of pomegranate seeds from red rose, 3 glasses of sugar the third glass should be two fingers or less, 3 glasses of cognac the third should be two fingers or less, 7 cloves, and 2 sticks of cinnamon, all together in a pot from the time let it boil, leave it for 3 minutes and take it off the fire. Cover the pot with a towel and leave it all night. The next day, strain the seeds well with tulle and store them in bottles
Nothing enchants the senses like a magical drink!!

Looks gorgeous :sparkling_heart:

thank you very much it’s sweet like magic :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Ok… the picture… priceless!

They’ve been patiently waiting for their moment to shine- maybe this is their week to help you make some tasty treats! :yum:

Absolutely! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: After all, you would still be doing the most important part- enjoying the results! :plate_with_cutlery: :yum:

If baking isn’t your cup of tea (I struggle with it too! Cooking has always been easier for me than baking) then maybe try cooking or grilling? They really are each their own form of food work! :grinning:

Good luck, Brandy- you’ve got this! :sparkling_heart:

I love the idea of adding runes to your cooking- it’s a creative way to add magick to your meal! :grinning: :sparkles:

Recommending recipes would be a great way to approach the challenge- sharing is caring, especially in the coven! :handshake: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hello deliciousness! Oh, these sound amazing, Heav3n! :two_hearts: Do you have any left? I’m on my way~ :airplane: :joy:

Hahaha this made me chuckle- I’m in the same boat! I think I might have a slightly better shot on a cooking show. Baking or grilling, well… let’s just the only grilling or baking show I’d feel confident auditioning for would be Nailed It :joy: :fire:

Oh, Airam- this sounds amazing! And look at that beautiful pitcher- it looks so elegant on display! I really like the rich red color too. A very beautiful liquer that makes me think of the Goddess Persephonne

Thank you so much for sharing your recipe- cheers, my friend! Drink a cup for me too please! :clinking_glasses:

Hahaha I’m happy if you liked it, Ailey! I was chuckling while I put it together :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Looking forward to this challenge. I’ve not baked anything for a while, this is definitely a sign.

Thanks, love! I know just what I’m going to post then. And it’s cooking too, not just baked goods, right?

Challenge Entry: this isn’t “baking” per say but I love to cook, and most of my dishes are infused with love. I would like to share one of my favorite recipes with you all, that my grandma used to make for us when we were children. I just made it two nights ago, and it’s so delicious. I recommend it 100%, a recipe for Hungarian Goulash!

2 packs cubed beef
Spiral egg yolk noodles
1 can beef broth
1 can tomato paste
1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 white onion, sliced
1-2 Serrano peppers, diced (optional)
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
3 carrots (optional)
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon worchesire sauce
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
2-4 bay leaves

Slice onion, peel & chop carrot.
Heat skillet w/ oil, brown meat on all sides (do it in batches) 3-4mins each side.
Add meat & sliced onion to crock pot.
In medium sized bowl, mix tomato paste, beef broth, seasonings, minced garlic, and finely chopped Serrano pepper.
Pour fire roasted tomatoes over the meat/onion mix then pour the mixture from the bowl over everything.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours in crockpot
((((1hr before being done, separate meat from the onions & tomato. Take juice w/ onion and tomato & blend it up! Add sauce back to meat. Cook for 1 more hour!))))
Boil noodles in separate pot, add meat mix over the noodles! Add drop of sour cream on top if desired.

This is such a lovely, savory dish that enriches your soul and will melt in your mouth if cooked long enough! I absolutely adore it, and it’s a plus that I think of my grandma any time I make it. This was such a fun challenge, do you mind if I add more recipes? Like I said, I LOVE to cook! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  4. Roll each cooled egg on counter to crack shell around the entire egg.

  5. Place cracked eggs in glasses/mason jars with colored water and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.

  6. Peel eggs then slice in half lengthwise. Reserve yolks in a bowl.

  7. Mash yolks with guacamole, mayonnaise, lime zest and salt.

I did like @Heav3n and made brownies but I know mine could of been better.:woman_shrugging:
2 eggs
2/3 of oil
Three cups of water
And cocoa mix. This challenge reminds me of that movie (Simply Irresistible) starring Michelle Gellar when she played a kitchen witch. Lol
