I have no clue what I’m going to do for this challenge…I don’t want to repeat myself and repot some more plants (even though I have a habanero plant that needs repotting) but I guess I can figure something out!

Oh this is perfect! I have this little plant that needs to be re-planted because she has grown out of the little cup I began her with. I’ve kept her on my mini altar, for the last couple of months as my earth symbol. I started her as just a wee little sprout and now she is is 5 stems of leaves.
So I think I will re-house her to a big pot and do a meditation on some of the personal growth I have been going through as well.
By the way my little plants name is Bernice…lol. I have a Greenly and a Stella as well, my fern outside is Lagatha.
Blessed Be All,

Glad to hear that, @AliceInWonderdab - enjoy the challenge!

Your first oil is very exciting, @Kasandra! Wishing you good luck- do you have a recipe in mind that you want to try? :test_tube:

You have a creative soul, @NickWick- I’m looking forward to seeing what you will come up with! :relaxed:

You are very welcome, @colin  Have fun exploring earth magick!

The timing is perfect indeed, @Rowan- may your altar plant and earth symbol find a lovely new home in a new pot! :seedling: Good luck to you and Bernice. I think Greenly, Stella, and Lagatha may get jealous and want new pots to call home as well! :+1:

Fire Element is a great for quick results but they don’t last. Fall asleep by a roaring camp fire, you wake up from the chill because the wood was all consumed.
Earth Element on the other hand; is slow but long lasting. Bottle spells are just such spells. There’s all kinds of them for various intents. Cord magick is another. You can burn the cord for fast results or bury it for long lasting effects.
Earth is great for grounding. I use the tree method. I place both hands on the tree and let the excess or negative energy run into the tree, down into the ground, then back up through my feet in a cycle until the energy level is back to normal. Some people I know prefer to get down on the ground on all fours.
Grounding is important. I find that after some rituals I am so full of excess energy I get muscle cramps in my shoulders and neck.
When I use meditation for a ritual rather than actually physically doing it I conjur up animals to represent the elements. The Eagle for Air, the Wolf for Fire, the Salmon for Water, and the Bear for Earth.
That’s pretty much my take on it. Looking forward to learning more from you guys.

EARTH
I am a taurus. I love crystals and stones and have collected them as long as I had pockets. Being in my garden I can completely zone out, lose track of time. In the house I admit to being lazy and am content to snooze in a chair by a sunny window, but if I am outside in my garden I am energized. I am addicted to planting, growing plants, watching flowers form, and fruit ripen.

I found some information about the Earth signs, Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn. My oldest son is a Taurus and my birth mother is a Capricorn. I am a Scorpio :sun_with_face: , Virgo :full_moon:, and Capricorn  . My oldest son is a Taurus and we get along alright. So learning the Earth Elements and how they relate to my birth chart has been fun too. I printed a copy of my birth chart & I want to do a relationship chart for me & my significant other, I think it would be fun.

I used this information that I found this morning Earth Signs

Earth signs are known as The Legends and for being, “Those graced by an Earth sign in their horoscope are practical, grounded and dependable. These folks don’t take big risks; rather, they much prefer a sure thing.”

“The element of Earth also confers a sense of duty, responsibility and reliability to those in its sphere. These are the people you can count on to be there when you need them.” I have found this to be true of myself & I have the earth signs pretty prevalent in my chart and with people that I know with these signs. I do know a Taurus that says one thing but the opposite is true. Our friendship faded because they just were absent. But the other thing about the Earth signs is that, “Those influenced by this element feel best once they have accumulated a goodly number of worldly possessions. The risk inherent in this, however, is that these individuals may become greedy and far too materialistic.” I am not this person… I’m happy with the simple things & I don’t need material things to show my worth or anything else.

I hope everyone enjoys learning about the Earth Signs as much as I did!
